Well, Pannepot last night, a dandy one, and doo doo in my glass tonite. Win some, lose some. In any event, an amber tinged clear copperish color with a pretty nice fluffy head, great retention, solid lacing, so far so good for a plain old amber ale (ie. within style, nice appearance). Aroma wasn't disgusting, just really hard to pick up, some smokey bitter tea bags, light caramel, not much else. The flavor was utterly unimpressive, actually quite taxing, highly astringent, acidic, bitter nuts, week old bitter coffee grinds, smokiness (in a bad way), and an almost sewer-like touch underneath. I was hoping for only bitter tea bags after smelling this thing, but it tasted worse than it smelled. Watery acidic mouthfeel, I don't know how to be more polite about this one. A craft brewer like MA's should be shut down, as I've yet to drink something decent from them. I'd take Bud over this any day - lacks flavor, but that's better than disgusting.

Clear amber color with a big off white, foamy head. Sweet and malty with a slightly smokey taste which made this stand out a bit. Ambers are usually too sweet for my liking but this was very good.

Thsi poured a nice deep ruby color in the glass and was very appealing to look at. The aroma was quite hoppy as was the taste. I didn't think it was anything special....but not terrible by any means.

Deep ruby brown color, generous beige head and tons of fine lace. Nose is some what flowery, and a bit candy like. Start is sweet, the middle is full, the finish hop bitter and a tad acidic. Carbonation is moderate, and I think a quite drinkable beer. thanks Venom
