As far as pale ales go this would be around average. Poured a murky gold color with little to no head. Had a good hoppy taste and a very mild aftertaste which was a plus. Not a bad beer for a pale ale.

Aroma is crisp and malty, typical of a pale ale. It pours a clear straw yellow with a thick but quickly dissipating white head. Flavor is - well, it tastes a little bit like beer, malty with just a hint of fruit, but rather wan and uninspiring. Texture is smooth and just a little bit fizzy. OK, but I won't be looking for this one again.

A cloudy pale orange colored beer. A small Creamy textured white head rises above. Not much hang time. The lacing is impressive, some film, some cappping, a thin ringlet. The nose is lighter than the tasting. Some hops in the nose. More hops in the tasting, but less hops than there is sweet, no nonsense sweet malt. Would make this a pretty good session beer. The body is light and crisp.

It pours a light golden with thick and dimpled white head and copious lace. An aroma of sweet malts, light hops, citrus, and some mild spice. The mouthfeel is smooth, although a bit thin. Flavors of rich malts, light hops, tart, citrus, and mild spices. Not bad!

I can't count how many times I've stopped by the store in some place in NorCal and wound up buying a sixer of this because it's tasty and it's pretty inexpensive. The beer pours out a solid gold color, clear with a large 2" thick head which disipates to a thin, wispy head. A doughy aroma with the off-setting fruity hops (getting orange rinds). Flavor is very well balanced with the fruity sweet malts and the tame perfumey hops. Easy to drink and still pretty tasty all these years.

used to be one of the best pales around, but has lost a step, so i have to rate it as it presently is. still a well blaanced pale, earthy hop aroma, and enough malts to balance the flavor. pretty clean if unspectacular.

Not much in the aroma department, a few hops. Appearance was a slightly cloudy yellow body, with a frothy head that left nice thick lace. Flavor was like the aroma a slight hop bite, with a clean finish. Overall it was a decent pale ale.

Golden colored with a thin head. Very weak aroma; it's fresh, clean and kind of wheaty but there's just not much there. The flavor starts with a relatively strong malt profile then turns to bitter hops and finishes dry. Interesting. There's quite a bit of flavor for a Pale Ale (which I never guessed from the aroma) but it does seem a tad unbalanced. Not bad but not sure if this one makes the cut for another try. Too many good ones out there.

Pours with a decent American Pale head, lacing is average ... Not as full as most APA's ... lacks any craft beer characteristics, feels like a mass market APA ... "stiff upper lip ole girl" ... needs work for sure! ..

Poured a nice golden color with a weak head. Had aromas of hops and malt. Not too much in mouthfeel, but had a nice balance between malt and hops. Went down real smooth.
