Pours clear coppery-red with a thick and rather persistent pale buff head that leaves good lacing and pillows a little. Aroma presents woody hops, toasted malt, and subtle caramel notes, tempting the palate. Sharp, bitter, woody hops are the main player in the flavor, while, toasted malt and a snip of caramel provide backup tones. Mouthfeel offers good body, if not much fizz. Catch this sound bite!

Little above average for the style. Has some good hop to it which helps. Texture and feel could be better, but it is what it is. Glad I only grabbed a single that was on clearance @ Whole Foods vs. having to grab entire variety pack. This is ok and drinkable, just not one of their better ones.

Part of their Night of the Living Dead variety 12-pak purchased in Vermont, under Vamplifier Hoppy Red Ale. Pours a clean darker amber colour with a warm creamy-frothy head that stays long, leaving some nice lacing. Hoppy spicy nose over biscuit and caramel malts. Breaded malt taste with the grassy sharp hops. A nice malty-bitter-hop flavour lingers. Quite a nice hoppy red ale.

A bright ruby-amber colored beer with a moderate sudsy textured off white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head with fluffs of film and moderate ringlet left. Some toffee and floral hops in the nose. Add a breadiness to that profile in the tasting. Full smooth body.
