Draught. Colour - hazed pale yellow, huge frothy white head, very nice lacing. Aroma - wheat, citrus, spices, yeast. Typical witbier notes. Mouthfeel - light to medium bodied, over carbonated for a witbier. Flavour - sweet wheat, citrus, and spices. A very refreshing witbier.

This is the #1 selling witbier in Toronto….go figure. It pours a pale straw colour with a huge foamy white head. Aroma is wheat, grainy malt, light citrus, and spices. Flavour is nicely balanced by the sweetness of the wheat and the citrusy hops. I’ve had better wheat beers however.

The beer pours a hazed golden yellow colour with a creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, banana, and spices. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is typical of witbiers, slightly sweet in the beginning with a spicy finish. -

This was the suggestion when I asked for something local. 341ml bottle with steak dinner in Montreal. Poured cloudy, light gold colored, shiny white foam. Typical wit aroma, corriander spice, wheat, some yeast. Again, typical wit flavor, fresh lemon citrus, balanced with peppery and clovelike spices. Dry, clean finish. Enough hops to keep the wheat malt in balance. Thin body and mouthfeel, but appropriate for the style. A good offering.

07.08.05 Tap at brewpub. Looks all thick and milky like grapefruit juice. Aroma is mildy citrus, muddled, DME. Flavor brightens up with spicy clove. Flat finish. Boring to drink and scary to look at.

Posseses all the right character for the style. But otherwise, nothing much to say - A fairly standard witbier. Not bad though!

341ml bottle (Thanks Sammy). A pleasing looking witbier..pale, clouded, sparkling natural carbonation from bottle conditioning....nice fluffy white cap....odors of corriander and musty grains, slightly sour . Starts sparkling and a bit peppery..spicey-citrus taste blends with tart drying in the clean finish from wheat and hops. I really have nothing to compare this Canadian made wit with except my experience with Celis and Hoegaarden...it certainly has all the character of the style but is a tad weak in the body and strangely, not as refreshing...still a good offering of the wit style fron a PQ brewer.

Usual yeast Cheval Blanc flavor which is a good thing. A bit of lemon in this nice white colored brew. Very refreshing, not too bad for a style (Belgian White) that seems to go out of favour with brewer...

Poured a cloudy golden-white colour with a fluffy head. Nose was of citrus and spices. The taste was also of spices, specially coriander. Had a crsip finish. This brew is very close to Boréale Blanche (which I prefer of the two).
