Picked up six at the San Jose Trader Joe's, price was right at $5.99, recommended by a helpful staffer. I drank a couple there, and knew it was very good (good enough to send in a trade), finally getting around to a proper review. Clear, copper colored body with a thin, off-white head. The foam slowly dissipates to thin floating cap, thin lace. Smells of pine with some herbal hops. Caramel and toasted malt also apparent. Lots of hoppy bitterness, pine resin, citrus, grapefruit. Enough bready malt to keep things in balance. Crisp mouthfeel, medium body, dry finish. Nice hoppy aftertaste. Good drinkability: an all-around good, easy to drink IPA, a nice suprise.

355 ml gold can, similar label as their Driller's Ale. From the label: "Roughneck Brewing Company is a craft brewery locally owned and operating in Alberta, Canada. Our beer is a celebration of the lifestyle and good times here in Western Canada. Brewed for your enjoyment, we guarantee this beer will be satisfying. Pipeline Lager is a traditional Canadian lager with a light gold colour and a clean crisp taste. All our beer is brewed in small batches using only the best malted barley, hops, filtered water, and yeast. The result is a great tasting all natural beer." Gold colored with a foamy white head. Minimal lace or retention. Grainy, wet grass smell. Typical 'beer' flavor, same any other Pale Lager. Medium body, crisp finish. Don't want to sound too negative, but not much else to speak of. OK, not great, I will support a locally made product in the future.

355 ml aluminum bottle poured into a pint glass. Reddish amber colored, clear liquid. Slightly off white foam, solid head leaves nice looking lace. Smell has lots of herbal, earthy hops, and some toasted malt. Taste mirrors the smell, toasted, caramel malts with a full flavored hoppy finish. Good carbonation level, medium body, bitter drying finish. Nice flavors, well balanced all around. Glad to see another small brewery making good beer.

355 ml aluminum bottle poured into a pint glass. Clear golden yellow with a white head. Foam slowly fades to a thin cap, thin strings of lace. No overpowering smells, combination of bready malt and light grassy hops. Clean taste, fresh bready malt and slightly caramel sweetness balanced against some spicy hop bitterness. Good level of carbonation, medium body, smooth and easy to drink. Glad to see another small brewery making good beer.

On Tap at C'est What, on a quick stop in T.O. Cloudy yellow color, with gold shimmery hilights. Big white head, good staying power, lots of thick lace sheets. Lots of typical hefe aromas, banana, clove and other spices. Flavor was just like it smelled. Bananas and other fruit, cloves, very light and refreshing. Mouthfeel was very nice, creamy smooth with lots of bubbles. A very good hefeweizen, may be the best I have tried. I consider myself lucky to have found this one.
