Pours a pretty clear amber with a thick, though effervescent, eggshell head. Coriander leads the tempting aroma, with sweet fruit, citrus, malty, and subtle hoppy notes as backup singers. Bold flavor charges fruity, coriander, citrus and malty tones over the palate, while hops and cloves peep through. Texture is firm and smooth, though not too fizzy. No joke(rs) - this brew will make you smile!

Funky! This is a juicy, tart wit with a menagerie of flavors. If I had to pick a style I would call it a gueuze which I typically dislike, but this one is an exception. I do not care for the cloudy apperance or its wheat aroma, but I love the light, bubly mouthfeel. It is a refreshing wheat beer and the taste is simply too complex to describe. I will try nevertheless. In order; lemon, lime, coriander, orange, clove, pepper, allspice. Finish is bubble gum. Yeah, I said it. Friggin bubblegum.

Pop the cap or should I say the cork the jokers are out to play and the joke is on your friends who buy Bud products. I can not stop laughing at the irony two jokers and double wit, was the name intentional or a random misnomer, either way on to the beer!!! Lordy mercy at the carbonation on this! The cork was flying about the room like a missle fired by the evil Dubya at a middle eastern dicator. The foam was everywhere like a rabid dog that had to be put down. Don’t cry for old Yella cause he will live peacefully in my glass then on to my belly and it will go to the urine tract. As my nose wanders about the glass I smell orchard fields of delight, like I am high and living in Florida. Oh imagine being on shrooms in the citrus fields. Oooooh my! A nice wake up call of ethanol radiates from the citrus fields of pleasure. Oh my how I dance gay-ly about! As the late 90s pop group proclaimed SPICE UP YOUR LIFE. By golly Scary Spice was so right. I am dancing with gingerbread men and women here! I just stole a button from one, teehee do not tell! I have not even sampled the beer yet I am still in a plethora of orgasmic joy! The foam has settled now hits my humble lips! Ooooh snap ya’ll the citrus burst is that of an 80s Starburst commercial. I am carried away by a fruit explosion! I am as orange an Oompa Loompa and as yellow and sour as a drunken dwarf. Oh my friends the fun does not stop there oh no sir! The spice rack is on attack. A sharp coriander sword through my tongue has just taken place. With a nice warming finish. Like reading a book by an unknown author and sitting by the fire. Oh my what a marvelous job the folks in the Show Me state have done. Well they surely did Show Me how to take a simple belgian summer bier and make it a masterpiece and make my nose just a little bit more red by evening end. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys life, or even enjoys not dying. I’m still alive! And befriending my two new joker friends!

Sampled at GABF on 9/16/2010. This witbier pours a slightly hazy gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a touch of banana and clove. A medium bodied witbier. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of banana and clove. Hops are earthy. Nice carbonation. Good balance. Nice finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is slightly bitter.

This is an impressive attempt at a Belgian Wit. A beautiful hazy golden pour with a huge white head that emits pleasant wisps of citrus, coriander, and wheat malt. A refreshing beer dominated by flavours of citrus, spice, and everything nice!

Another nice brew from Boulevard, 2 jokers delivers the classic Belgian wit characteristics Coriander, nutmeg, clove, bready yeasts, with some floral hints as well. Refreshing yet bold, a slightly sour finish leaves you wanting more, a quality wit for sure.

Sampled from bottle. Pours cloudy yellow-orange with a creamy white head and thick lace. The aroma is subtle with some banana and pepper. Balanced, with bold yeast character. There's lots of pepper/clove and I'm assuming Boulevard went with another yeast for this beer other than a traditional wit biere yeast. The yeast character resembles what you'd find in a Belgian Strong Golden. There is some orange in the finish, but I'm missing the corriander's perfume. Medium bodied and highly drinkable for an 8% abv beer. This is the best 'double wit' that I've tried so far. Recommended!

Huge spicy and fruity floral bouquet on this brew. Coriander and orange is very noticeable. A touch of fresh lavender as well with some bread and yeast notes. Pours a hazy mellow orange with a nice fizzy white head that last. Amble carbonation makes this brew extremely refreshing and you savor and get exited for every sip. Intensely crisp and quite quaffable.. WOW! Flavor is classic here.. Belgium wit... Spice, orange, tartness, a tad of clove and a sharp but distant sour finish.. Another fantastic Smokestack series Beer from a GEM of a brewery!!!
