Our Master Brewers describe Kentucky Ale as a marriage between two classic beer styles, Irish Red Ale and English Pale Ale. Light amber in color, Kentucky Ale owes its unique body and character to select imported malts and a pinch of wheat malt for a rich, smooth taste. The unique body and character of Kentucky Ale is heavily influenced by the water, drawn from aquifers in the limestone rock underlying the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky.

Nice and clean on the palate. An aroma similar to caramel corn, I thought. Mild flavors.. sweet and nicely bitter. Nice finish. I'm Kentucky guy , but if I weren't , I'd still drink it.

355 ml capped bottle, with a 6,0 % ABV. Poured a crystal clear and orange-copper coloured A A with a one finger slgihtly beige, dense, fine and pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, caramel, weak floral hops, spicy notes. The flavour is caramel malts, toffee, spicy with notes of vanilla and cinnamom, light floral hops. The mouthfeel is creamy, thin and smooth. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied A A has a dry light bitter finish. Easy drinkable, a soft Amber Ale.

Pours a classic golden amber with a one finger, big bubble head. One strand of bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass. Body is crystal clear. Aroma is sweet and reminds me of the typical ale or lager that breweries offer. Taste is light to medium bodied with hints of malts and sweetness's. Other than that I can only describe it as a typical ale. Decently balanced.

Sampled at the Pub! Pours a clear, copper-colored with a white and creamy medium sized head that sticks around for a while, and leaves very good lacing on the glass. The aroma is primarily malts, caramel and bready, pleasant and rounded out with smells of earthy hops. The taste is a smooth and malty affair, with toffee and caramel notes with just a hint of bitterness. The mouthfeel is crisp with a high amount of carbonation with the body being in the medium range. The finish is smooth and easy drinking, with a light sweetness.

Another in a long line of American Amber Ales that does nothing to distinguish itself from the rest of the pack. A decent copper coloured pour with notes of caramel, floral hops, and light fruits. The flavour is solidly the same. No surprises, good or bad.

Very clear amber with golden highlights. Poured right down the middle with an aggressive pour to produce a nice white to off white soapy, foamy head. The head didn't stay around too long though. I do like the color. Some decent hops in the nose with a slight biscuit or bread smell. A touch of caramel and a bit of a faint floral hint. Not a lot going on with the taste. Slight bit of bitterness at the end, but was expecting more. Faint bit of alcohol in the aftertaste. To me, not as strong a flavor as a typical Irish Red type brew. The mouthfeel was very light, watery and smooth. Somewhat crisp however. With the watery mouthfeel, it makes this very easy for me to drink. Not too bad really. I usually pick up a 6 pack every now and then. I like that it is brewed in Ky and I like supporting our local breweries. I could drink a few of these. Not the best beer ever, but not horrible.

Pours amber with an ample head that produces decent lacing to the bottom. Aromas and flavors of malt and caramel. Slightly fruity and sweet, although I can't place the fruitiness. Well balanced and a respectable brew.

Sampled from bottle, thanks to beer4bone. Pours clear copper-gold with a minimal head. Sugar and pear in the aroma. On the sweet side of balanced with only malt and a hint of fruit in the flavor. Pretty simplistic but not bad. If it were local, I'd buy it a time or two a year.

Pours light brown with good clarity and minimal head. Aroma is subtly malty and that's about it. Flavor is plain-jane, kind of balanced, pretty clean. Thin bodied with moderate carbonation.
