I sampled this at an Odd Fellows function It is well balanced and quite drinkable I was impressed by how the fruitiness of the ale did not overpower everything else. It would be a nice go to option refreshing enough for a warm day but strudy enough to stand up to a meal.

It's not a bad beer, but nothing that I would intentionally pursue. Flavor is the best asset. Color - coppery - is decent with a slight head and fair lacing. Drinkable.

It has a clean clear golden color with a big off white head that fades to a thin cap that just covers the beer. The nose is light and has some herbal hops and bready malt notes. On the tongue the flavor is balanced between the hops and the malts. Carbonation is average with a light to medium body. Harpoons ale finishes crisp and clean which makes for a good overall average brew that is very drinkable.

Light hops, and just a touch of malt midpalate, gives way to a soft bitter finish. Subtle caramel undertones. Presents a beautiful amber colour with a nice full white head.

Nice malty aroma, some burnt caramel malt and a little sweetness. Medium copper pour with a sizeable head that diminished, good lacing along the glass. Medium fullness, very easy and drinkable. Flavor is dominated by a good malt content of caramel with some light roasted flavors and a good nuttinness. Little hop flavors and bitterness came my way, mostly malt. Drinkable and easy on the palate, this is a nice ale.

This amber pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A light to medium bodied amber. Malts are fruity and sweet, touch of caramel. Hops are mild, grapefruity and herbal. For an amber it a little light in body and not very sweet, which makes it a little better than average in my book. Nice balance. Very easy drinking. Light and refreshing. The hop bitterness and lack of sweetness seem to make it more of an English Pale Ale than an amber. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Not a bad ale here for sure and is very solid. The aroma is nice with some slight bitter notes but is a bit faint with maybe some slight sweetness. The appearance is a nice bronze-orange in color when held to the light with a nice head on top that discipates to a light lacing that is off-white in color. The mouthfeel is smooth with some nice and hoppy presence with some decent complexity with a palate that is a bit dry. The flavor is crisp and refreshing and very solid for the most part but needs more substance with an aftertaste that is nicely hoppy with a finish that is crisp. Overall, not a bad ale here with solid complexity but just is a tad boring to some extent.

Once again, I liked it an awful lot, I thought it was well balanced, it laced, it had a small, creamy head. This beer had the total package, though was rather boring.

Bottle @ brewery. Light gold with a smallish head. Aroma of light fruit and dried leaves. Taste is malty like every other freakin VT beer.

Pours light amber with little head, but decent lacing. Has a mild aroma primarily comprised of sweet malts. Rather light bodied with smooth carbonation. The taste is uncomplicated, a fine ale.
