Purchased at NS Liquor on my trip to Nova Scotia. Pours a rich golden colour with a very light amber hue. Nice creamy off-white head with decent retention and some more creamy lacing. Aromas are quite grainy with some hay and mild sweetness. The taste is pretty much the same, but with the hop showing in the finish. Light grass, but with a touch of what seems like adjunct or chemical hints. The rest is not bad, but not like written on label "Premium", nor "Spéciale".

Enjoyed a pint at McKelvie's, Halifax. Pours barely any head and a pale golden/amber appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas of fruits, grapes as well as sweet and grainy malts. Flavours are subtle grainy malts, fruity notes, sweet malts. Mild and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Lively carbonation. Quite refreshing.

Bottle: Poured a clear light amber color ale with a medium foamy head with good retention and surprisingly very good lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt with a semi-dry finish is OK. Taste is also dominated by some caramel malt with not much in terms of other characteristics. Average body with good carbonation. Very easily drinkable but well done for the style.

I agree with Pootz, a decent but fairly plain ale. Very white appearance with smallish head. Little light on the attack with a fairly bitter aftertaste. Just meh

Nothing to impress here, just an all malt ale for mass market appeal. Poured a bright amber with a smallish cap, cap lasted the first 2 swigs then vanished, very light lacing...fairly well carbonated. Aroma was very light...sweet caramel and grassy hops with a funky mustyness ( frome the yeast?) Medium-light, slightly watery body, modest malt spine, musty-caramel character and a slightly thin mouth feel. Caramel malts up front with some NW ale hops giving attenuated balance, again, you detect the thin body, then you get the yeat tastes and although they are not foul tastes neither are they nutty or fruity or anything you expect from special ale yeasts...they are just "yeasty" tasting....this is what lost points from this brew in my assessment... a fast finish...the finish is the best part of this ale which departs a bready-biscuit taste from the malts. All in all a very modest effort which was probably planned to not offend anyone.
