Really disappointed in this ale compared to the other kinds of Full Sail I've tried. Aroma is of malt but the malt taste is very weak. The mouth feel is very thin but at least it's not bitter.

Had this at the brewery in Hood River last weekend. This one is surprising rich and dark for an amber with good lacing and foam. Has a nice toffee malt aroma that is better than most ambers. Soft light medium body with a drying finish of clean hops. Simple but well done one of the better core beers I've had of theirs so far and I'm not a big amber fan.

Surprises never end -- for a grocery store beer this one was pretty good. Nice appearance on the pour, pretty good aroma, and a nice dose of hops, but not too much. Will be an excellent alternative next time the thirsty-ies come a calling!

Pours a deep reddish-brown - mahagony, perhaps - with a slight, faint head that dissapates quickly, but produces decent lacing. A very pleasant amber that is well-balanced... not too sweet or sticky with a nice complement of hops.

This one pours a deep reddish-brown colored ale. Small soapy head without much hang time. Settles into a thin sticky lacing. Sweet malts assault the nose. There’s a moderate, smooth body. The taste is a complex balance of sweet malt and citrus/pine hops.

A very nice suprise and it continues to remind me why Full Sail is underappreciated in some circles. They've taken a rather bland style and made it their own. The pour is a very nice, cherrywood/reddish-brown color, cloudy with a rocky 1" creamy head. The aroma full of sweet malts, nutty, slightly rosey and light fruits. Flavors are suprisingly sweet, some malts both caramel and coffeeish (but never taking sides either way...odd). Maybe it's more caramel and chocolate, but I get the flavor of eating a Werther's chocolate coated caramel, but still has an ever so slight roasted malt. A creamy mouthfeel, full and round nicely completes the beer. I wish the finish was a tad bit longer, but that's just nitpicky I guess. Very enjoyable.

Aroma is malty and inviting, with just a touch of sweetness and a hint of fresh bread. Color is clear, orangy-brown-amber; head is fairly thick and persistent, and a nice pale tan. Flavor is crisp and smooth, malty and satisfying, only a teensy bit bitter - not complex, but rather tasty. Texture is smooth and lively.

Deep amber colored with a thin head and some spotty lacing. Aroma is malty, a bit toasty, with subtle hints of fruit. Sweet, roasted malty and fruity flavors up front with light traces of hops and bitterness on the back end but it does finish a little weak. Pretty good but not great.

Seems to be alittle dark for an amber. Mouthfeel is very nice. Very creamy and full head with nice lacing. Smooth after taste. Rich flavor. For the price I WILL buy this one again
