A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle, this medium-bodied pale ale has a refreshing citrus flavor and a distinctive floral hop aroma due to the aggressive addition of hops during fermentation. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

355ml bottle into schooner glass. Mild citric hop nose. Golden amber beer with thin white head. Light carbonation. Zingy and tannic in the mouth. Finish is bitter with an underlying malt note. Sessionable but not memorable.

Founders dry hopped pale ale. Big foamy head even with a gentle pour. There is gunk on the bottom of the bottle, just like a good unfiltered wheat. Smells very hoppy, is very hoppy. The aroma is perfumy flowering hops with some hints of volatile turpentine. Color is foggy light iced tea. Cool swirling hypnotizing pour with precipitants in there! Lots and lots of carbonation, I find this very enjoyable in a well hopped beer. Almost is like an IPA in its personality. It’s not quite like chewing on grapefruit rinds but certainly a high degree of bitter hops for an APA. I just love that bubbly feel on the palate! Every APA should have such carbonation, it makes the bitter bite almost enjoyable. Finish is medium high medicinal lingering hop bitterness.

35,5cl bottle at Schouskjelleren. Almost clear golden with a white head. Fruity aroma with pine, malt and a hint of caramel and yeast. Lightly fruity and hoppy with a quite mild bitterness in the finish. Enjoyable, but nothing special. (2012-12-20)

Bottle thanks to Blazer06: Poured a yellow with a white head. Aroma is hops and citrus. The taste is citrus but very mellow and light hops that keep it interesting.

Courtesy of Blazer06, pours copper with off white head. The aroma is earthy hops, spicy hops, grains and a touch of citrus and peach. The taste is similar with spicy hops, some earthiness, a bit of lemon acidity and modest maltiness. Some hop bitterness lingers into the after taste.

Sample from bottle, at Vectura-messe, Deep golden colour. Fruity and piney American hops in aroma and flavour. Bitter aftertaste, nearly an IPA. Okay.

Hazy golden colour with lots of tiny particles in the brew. Nice creamy warm cap that stays long and give out bubbly lace. Hoppy nose with fruity grapefruit notes and mild pine. Wet mouthfeel at first, but gets dryer as the aftertaste progress. Mild bitterness lingers. The taste is on the fruity side with lots of citrus and a bit of its zest. Something is not well-balanced in the middle. Not a bad APA, but not something I would have many.

A solid overall pale ale. I like the dry-hopped for this style. Reminds me of the dry-hopped Rogue...not a red but similar flavor. Good fresh hop, but not super bitter like an IPA. Since it's a pale ale, has just a tad of malt, so this leans towards the hops in balance. Clean, crisp feel. Perfect for the onset of the FL spring/summer, where we are starting to push high 80s and 90s.

Vanilla, lemon, lavender and a touch of bread in the nose, nice nose. Pours a foggy pale copper body topped with a moderate white head with some retention and little lacing. Carbonation is very nice in the mouth which is medium body and coats the palette nicely. Flavor profile is spot on for an APA. Considerable malt backbone, none of the butteryness of an English Pale, nicely bitter for the style, fairly neutral in flavor with the hops just predominating, dry finish with a bit of bitter. Well done.

A great refreshing American Pale Ale that we just don't see in these parts with any regularity. A golden pour, clear with orange hues and a huge white head that lingers a while. Aroma is certainly hoppy with hints of citrus and caramel. Flavour is great with a nice balance between caramel sweetness and citrusy bitterness. An excellent session beer.
