Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

What a wonderful, wonderful beer! I love the coppery color, citrus nose, good lacing, mellow mouthfeel, delicious NW hops, medium malt middle and grapefruit aftertaste. The waiter at our local Old Chicago Pizza recommended it from among the 110+ beers they serve, and I was not disappointed! Just the right amount of everything - goes great with food. It compares very well with my long time favorite Bridgeport IPA.

Pale golden pour with an average white head. Decent retention but not much lacing. Breaded malt and mild citrus aroma. Flavour leans towards grassy and citrus hops but also has some breaded malt for balance. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Refreshing, not bad for Flying Dog.

Copper with a small head. Quite a robust pale ale with caramel-malt in its nose. Has a fairly gritty taste with malt involved here too. Fairly crisp....

I've been holding onto this one a long time, at least a couple of years, with many other beers I've been carefully cellaring. Deep brick orange, almost brown, a little cloudy with a head that quickly dissolves. Aroma of lemon, orange, and sugar, a bit of raisin but quite tart. Tart and bittersweet flavor, too, like lemon peel and caramel. Even after being aged, the bitter is still fighting for juxtaposition. Nice fine carbonation, medium body, not so sticky for the style. Need to try this fresh, because it sounds like age improves it.

This beer is most definately a pale ale. A color of golden amber orange beams with life. The dry mouthfeel balances out with the juicy texture. The hops add a slight pungency. Overall, this is a pleasant beer and very satisfying for a pale ale lover.

Nice nose if fairly standard, fruity, citrus, a bit yeasty, maybe a a bit bright for the style, as in where's the malt? Light orange/copper body that appears still is topped with an OK white head that leaves moderate lace. Mouth is very watery with carbonation missing. Flavor, what can I say, i think they took "Pale" way too literally. No objectionable flavor notes. Ultimately non-complex, some sweetness that is suspicious in that is a sweetness without flavor, a little bit of bitter at the end, and very little in the middle. Certainly lacking in the flavor of any grain bill, solid malt backbone needed to produce a pale ale is completely missing. Drinkable and so is my tap water.

Tastefully illustrates both some fine beer crafting and alludes to a fun method of reproduction -- the best of both worlds can't wait to get back to both again!

Purchased by Lilihel's parents in Nahsville for Christmas. Pours a honey-amber colour with lots of sediments floating all over. It's head is off-white, lasts a while and creates lacing that stays. Beautiful fresh Cascade hop smell with hints of caramel and nuts. The hop does not show as much in the taste. More like caramel and biscuit malts, nuts, mild coffee and even burnt malt. I really enjoy the mild bitterness mixed with the slight sweetness. It is quite unique and delicious. A superior pale ale.

Orange color pour with a nice off-white head. Nice lacing around my glass. Smell of hops instantly hits you along with some orange/lemon smell. Flavor is hops all the way with some malts and citrus. A really good pale ale.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden amber with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet fruity bready caramel malts.
The flavor is sweet bready malts with some fruits and decent bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly watery with good carbonation.
Overall, a decent but uninspiring pale ale.
