Aroma is malty with an undertone of yeast, nothing special, but this is a lager. Pours a clear solar yellow with a fairly thick ivory-white head. Flavor is not crisp like most lagers, but has nice malty and fruity notes with hints of yeast and - butterscotch? I feel as though there's a ray of sunshine in here - maybe I should keep a bottle around for wintertime. ;) Smooth texture has more body than most lagers I have tried and a fair amount of fizz. Finish is malty, slightly sweet, with a whisper of hops. Overall, a respectable brew.

A cloudy orange-golden colored beer with a medium sized, foamy textured, white head rising briefly above. A medium sized ringlet is left behind. The profile isgrainy and slightly grassy. Light-medium bodied, effervescent and refreshing

This helles pours a light orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Medium sized whiter foamy head. Aroma is cereal and malty, somewhat sweet. A medium to light bodied lager. Malts are fruity and cereal. Hops are slightly spicy. Lots of lemon and lemon grass flavors. Yet it is a touch lactic which makes me wonder if it’s a little over the hill. Still it’s a nice summer beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Thanks to beerguy101 for sharing this at the San Diego Strong Ale Fest. This was a golden colored beer with a slightly sweet flavor. I thought it was a good beer from summer.

Beer poured pale golden color with huge head and lacing. Very pretty. Aroma was sweet citrusy and spicey. Taste was mild but pleasant. Very enjoyable. A great summer beer (even though I had it in the winter!).

Poured a murky golden color with a nice fluffy head. Aroma was citrus, spicey, somewhat wheat-like, a little musty. I was surprised it wasn't a wheat beer, based on aroma alone. Flavor was citrus and crisp, a bit sour. Refreshing. Mouthfeel was moderately bodied, heavy for a lager.

08.14.05 750ml bottle. Pale, hazed gold; tall white head that lasts and sheets lace. Aroma is bright and pleasant grain, fresh grass, and a hint of citrus tartness. Lemongrass and fresh cut grass flavors, dandelion. Brisk and pleasant finish. Touches of honey. Could stand a re-alignment as I’d prefer that a beer of this type be more assertive up front, while this is mild and sweet.

Poured a deep golden color with a medium sized, white, rocky, head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of grass, citrus lemon hops, and possibly light soapiness? Very refreshing taste. Chardonnay grapes, lemon citrus, bready malts, and a light hoppy bitterness. Nice and refreshing.

Pours with a deep golden body topped by a medium thick white head with good lacing. Slightly sweet yeasty aroma with lemony notes. Slightly sweet yet sour and citrusy flavor with yeasty notes. Light bodied, smooth and crisp. Reminded me more of a hefeweizen than a lager.
