While being a mild pilsner style beer, Bavarian Lager is our version of a clasic German "Helles" style of beer from Bavaria. Bavarian Lager is pale golden colored with a nice hop character over-laying mellow malt flavor.

Courtesy of Phishpond and BeerHunter. Pours a medium amber-yellow with a nice tight foamy head and very nice lacing. Good carbonation. Aroma of rich malts and undertone of hops. Very nice taste that is extremely smooth with a great malt base and a good hops finish. Excellent beer for the style.

This beer poured a nice copper color with a firm head. It had some sweetness to it midpalate, otherwise was moderately malty and was smooth going down.

Thick and creamy body, pours a dark brown colour with a amber coloured head. Aroma is of dark fruit, bread and caramel. Taste is relatively smooth, semi sweet with light toasted malt character.

With a nice amber color and pleasant head, this beer does well in the pour. I gets better from there. I was not expecting much for this microbrew, because I have found that some microbrews are hit and miss. This Bavarian Lagar was a definate hit. It has a nice hopsy flavor but not too strong to over power this pilsner style lager. The beer is sweet in taste and medium bodied, with a clean finish. I enjoy it every time I have it. I have found it to be one of this brewery's great achievements. I would recommend it to anyone that is tired of the US National usuals that we find in bars and restaurants in the midwest.

Nice drinking beer, smooth with the hint of malt that I look for, and enough hops to balance. I would consume more of this one in the future.
