Poured, vom Fass, in the brewery tap room a deep gold yellow colored beer with a mid sized white foamy head that had a good retention. Nice lacing. Soft carbonation. The aroma is grassy malt, a barnyard touch, notes of caramel. The flavour is grassy malt with hints of nuts and slight citrus, notes of honey. This medium bodied beer has a long bitter finish with a touch of honey. Very drinkable.

Fränken Bierausflug, Day#1, Brewery#2, Beer#3. Clear golden, well-carbonated, foamy white head with good retention and lacing. Aromas of fresh grain and sour hay. Smooth mouthfeel yields to a crisp bitterness. Solid malt flavor with honey sweetness and lightly bitter hops. Well-balanced with a lasting finish.
