This Witbier pours a bit darker then your normal, more gold than yellow. A nicely formed white head sat on top of the beer until the bottom of the glass. Aroma is fruity, not so much as the citrus zing of your normal witbier but more of a candy fruit, like white grapes and apples. I found a mixture of spice and the fruit in the flavor. A grainy feel was noted. Dry finish and a touch of alcohol was present in the end. Nice for #10.

The body is a cloudy gold. The aroma has a touch of leafy mint and a bit of slightly unripe bananas (really more the peels than anything else). The body is quite airy. The flavor is lightly sweet with a bit of pear and more mild mint.

Bottle (courtesy of Secret Santa): Bottle was stored in my fridge and I pulled it out 45minutes before drinking. It opened with large pop and started to gush and I then poured quickly in my glass. Poured a hazy golden color ale with a huge foamy white head with perfect retention. Carbonation is just crazy, which is not necessarily a bad thing, and body is pretty much average. Aroma of wheat with some pepper, coriander and maybe a bit of cinnamon. Taste is also quite heavy on wheat with a nice spice mix. I couldn’t really detect any alcohol, which is great. Overall, this may lack a bit of complexity but great take on the style (Strong Belgian pale ale/Witbier).

Pours with an orangish-gold body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. It’s sweet, malty and slightly spicy with a note of rotten fruit. Medium bodied and smooth.

Poured a golden yellow. Head was Huge the bottle exploded all over the place. Aroma was of oranges and apples. Flavor was too sweet, got better as it warmed. Mouthfeel was to sweet.

Beer poured with huge, out of control head. Aroma was funky yeasty, whatever that is that makes saisons funky. This beer is just too darned sweet...sickly. There was a little spiciness there and a little hop presence that salvaged this...but still not a huge fan.

Poured a golden yellow with orange hues. The head was pretty large (the bottle exploded all over me) and the lacing very nice. The aroma was of apples, oranges, and light coriander. Some yeast present. The flavor was much of the same with a sweetness that wasn't balanced enough. The mouthfeel was thick and sweet, very carbonated. Spices came out as it warmed.

Cloudy golden yellow. Poured with a huge head, but it did last long. Probably due to high alcohol. Speaking of the alcohol it is not very apparent. Compared to other wits it stands out, but compared to other beers of its strength, the alcohol is very well hidden. Sweet, and spicy like most wits, with a soapiness about it. I think the orange peel and wheat are the major players in the flavor. I just got done mowing the lawn, and I think this is quite refreshing. Pleasant CO2. Good job.

Poured a cloudy, darker orange / golden color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of orange peel, spices, strong sweetness, yeast and alcohol as well. Tons of sweet malts, lots of citrus, banana, some spices, and peppery alcohol as well. I’d be curious to see what some aging will do to this.
