Pours a nice clear amber with a typical white head. Strong, fruity aroma has a bit of a yeasty overtone. Malty aroma has firm fruity and woody hop notes, a bit bitter but not fiercely so, enough so you know it is well-hopped, and just a whisper of honey sweetness. Smooth texture has about average fizz and viscosity, and leaves a malty and somewhat honey-sweet finish. Get your Patriot on!

This beer is a sessioning beer that one could drink all day. A bit much at 6%, but not very noticeable. A golden pour with reddish hues, and a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has fruit tones, sweet malt, and citrusy hops while the flavour is similar. Refreshingly balanced.

A beer of the month club entry for Jan/Feb 2011. A medium quality brew, nothing outright bad, but slightly weak flavor base had to be it down fall. Another one of the those beers that if you happen to live close by it would be worthwhile stashing a few in the fridge.

Ok this beer had more of an IPA quality to it rather then a regular pale ale. Poured a dark orange colour with some reddish hints. Nose was incredibly hoppy. Like big floral pots and citrus flowing outrageously. Normally, being a hophead, i should like it but i sensed some unbalance here and that's why i give it slightly above average.

Feeling a little opto-good, my buddy phish just brought this back for us to try, my first SC beer, as well as pretty much any good beer from the East coast. A bit of mild bitter flavor as well as honey sweet with a hint of licorice, golden orange color, smells like the flavor, glows in radiance.

This APA is from MCrapps. It pours a medium yellow/amber with a nice head and very nice lacing. Good carbonation. A sweet malty aroma with a slight grapefruit and floral hops present. Taste is slightly sweet and very smooth with a nice balance of malts and hops. Good APA - thanks Rita.

The aroma is nice and hoppy with some slight grapefruit coming through with some nice sweet malt as well. The appearance is a lighter rustic-orange with a nice head on top that is creamy and off-white in color and diminishes only slightly as I type this review and is very carbonated. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied but barely with some nice notes of hoppy complexity with moderate balance with a palate that is smooth and wet with a hint of dryness. The flavor is hoppy with some nice bitter overtones like grapefruit and sweet citrus with some slight maltiness with an aftertaste that is dry with a hint of caramel with a finish that is crisp and smooth but not quite as sharp as it should be. Overall, not a bad APA here and is solid but not as bitter as I was hoping but without the extra bitterness, it makes for a solid session brew; not a bad offering here.
