Part of the 'Old Scottish Ales' 4-pack . The beer poured a clear, hazy medium gold colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grassy malt, some floral notes, and a slight skunky smell. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, medium carbonation. The taste is earthy, malty, with more of a sour finish than a bitter finish.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

The beer poured a transparent reddish-brown with a very thin long lasting tan coloured head. The aroma was sweet caramel malt with a little hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with mild carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, some caramel, some toffee, and little bit of a bitter finish.Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

The beer poured a transparent dark brown with a thin light tan coloured head. The aroma was roasted malt, some hops (the bottle claims that they are the 'choicest' hops), some smoke and some caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and medium carbonated. The flavour is roasted caramel malt, some cinnamon, and a decent hop finish.Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 8

The cider poured a nice transparent reddish-gold with no head. The aroma was sour apples, pears, and raspberries. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with high carbonation. The flavour was fruity and sweet with a strong berry presence. I really enjoyed the taste of this. I almost felt guilty not having another 3-4 of them.Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

The beer poured a translucent reddish-gold with a bubbly tan coloured head and plenty of effervescence. The aroma was grainy and skunky and not at all appealing. Definitely an ESB. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and medium carbonation (despite the effervescence). The flavour was bitter with some grain and citrus notes thrown in.Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

The beer poured an opaque dark muddy brown colour with a 3/4" creamy tan coloured head that lasted throughout. The aroma was weak, but definitely had a roasted malt character to it. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was dominated by roasted malt tones, with some bitterness in the mixAroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5

The back label has a similar feature to the Coors bottles with a silver icon that turns blue when cold.
The beer poured a translucent golden-red with a small thin tan head. The aroma was very grainy, and some earthiness. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied, with ample carbonation. The flavour was more grainy malt with some sourness at the end. Only slightly better than the Confederation Ale.Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5

The beer poured a translucent metallic red with no head at all. The aroma was a combination of grainy and sweet malt, with some floral hop tones weakly present. As stated by a couple of others, the mouthfeel was slightly watery, and not well carbonated. The flavour was rather bland with some grainy malt being the predominant flavour.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 6

The beer poured a solid golden-brown with a thin light tan coloured head. The aroma was floral in nature with some sweet malt. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, creamily thick, with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, maple sugar, with a strong hop flavour. Unlike the 60min and 90min IPAs, this beer is way too sweet, having something of a barleywine feel to it.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

The beer poured a cloudy golden-orange colour with absolutely no head. The aroma was grainy malt, some must, and peppery tones. The Mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was full of spice with a nice balance between the malt and the hops. Definitely had a peppery taste and feel.
