It poured nicely into the glass with very little head, what head there was was gone very quickly. The colour is a medium gold colour, and translucent. Carbonation is constant. The aroma is malty and was constant throughout. The mouthfeel is crisp with mild carbonation. The taste is mellow with hints of malt and grains. An refreshing beer.

It poured a somwehat cloudy gold colour, not translucent. The aroma was strong and malty with some grainy tones. It is slightly thick on the tongue with very little carbonation. The taste is slightly malty with a toasty aftertaste. This is another Czech beer I would have no problem trying again.

Having tried the Kronenbourg Lager, I decided to try this. The beer smoothly into the glass with a nice light gold colour, clear, with a thin head. The aroma is faint, but malty. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some mild carbonation. The taste is more hops than malt and has a slightly bitter finish. Overall, a decent beer that I may try again but I prefer the lager.

It poured a beautiful golden translucent colour. The aroma was a nice grainy aroma that screamed 'drink me!' It is smooth and crisp on the tongue with small hints of carbonation. The favour is crisp and clean with hints of grain. I will definitely try this again.

The aroma is slightly pungent with a wheaty punch. The colour is a cloudy peachy colour. The mouthfeel is thick and fuzzy to the cheeks with mild carbonation. The taste is thick and wheaty as well. Not a beer I will go out of my way to try again.

This was poured by the waitress into a Unibroue glass. It poured very clear with little head. When held up against the light it was a very pale yellow. The aroma was weak with some floral hints. It was very harsh on the tongue with a fair bit of carbonation. The taste was very bitter which surprised me from a pale lager. Not a beer I will try again anytime soon.

Wow! What a beer! (and it's an ale - maybe my ale has come!) This was a beautiful translucent golden-orange with a generous bubbly tan coloured head. The aroma was very much apricot with some grassy malt and a hint of hops. The mouthfeel was crisp, medium bodied with nice carbonation. The flavour was malty with hints of apricot. I really like this beer!

It was a nice red colour with a small tan-coloured head. The aroma was slightly malty. The taste was decent. Not very malty, and not metallic. I prefer Rickard’s Red to this Red.

The Fox and Fiddle (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
    20oz Draught

The colour was a dark gold colour, translucent, with an off-white head about 2cm high. There was not a lot of aroma to speak of however. The taste was crisp with a metallic tinge to it. Nothing to write home about, but not one to avoid either.
