The beer poured a nice dark translucent coppery red in to a glass with a generous loose white head. The aroma was a combination of nuts and hops, a little spicy. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with some mild carbonation. The taste is very mild with some malty hints and a hint of bitterness of the tongue.

I tried this beer on August 12, 2007 after purchasing from my local LCBO outlet. It poured a hazy gold colour with a small head into the glass. The bottle described the beer as 'double-hopped' but this was not detected in the aroma to any extent. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was slightly hoppy and mild.
Both the appearance and taste of this beer was more reminiscent of wheat beers than a Czech Style Pilsener.

It poured a translucent pale gold colour into the glass with a generous white head that quickly disappeared leaving some rocky lacing on top. The aroma was slightly malty. The mouthfeel was thin-bodied, crisp, with mild carbonation. Definitely not a watery feel. The taste was that of malt, hops, and a little spiciness I can't place. Overall, a decent beer

The beer was a deep translucent gold in colour with a very white small head that lasted mere seconds. The aroma on the other was grainy malt, and hops. The mouthfeel was thin-bodied and very crisp with a high level of carbonation. The taste was slightly malty with a a hoppy finish.

The beer was poured into a glass with a small white head that dissipated quickly. The beer was a cloudy orange-brown colour. The aroma was a strong yeasty aroma with some perfumy florals. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with a fair amount of carbonation. The taste has hints of malt and bread with no bitterness whatsoever.

The beer was a cloudy brown in colour with a short lasting off-white head. The aroma was very yeasty with some spicy tinges in the background. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with a fair amount of carbonation while the flavour was full of yeast and wet bread. Another fine product from St. Bernardus!

The beer poured a golden yellow into the glass with no head. There was no aroma to speak of..........I even had my partner smell the beer and she couldn't smell anything either. The mouthfeel was thin with mild carbonation. The taste was slightly malty with a dry finish.

The beer was a beautiful translucent red that reminded me of a Paulaner Salvator with very little head. The aroma was light on malt with a hint of raspberry. The mouthfeel was very weak...watery and no carbonation. The flavour was a combination of raspberry and coffee. The scary part of this beer is that after taking my notes from the first taste and writing them down..........the last 2/3 of the beer went down in maybe 5 seconds. This beer was WEAK. .

The beer was poured into a tulip and was a beautiful golden colour with a huge loose rocky white head that lasted longer than the beer. The aroma was hints of malt and some spice. The mouthfeel was light but with heavy heavy carbonation. The taste was slightly citrusy with a bitter aftertaste.

I bought this on the waitress' suggestion (should I get this or Unibroue's Trois Pistoles). It poured coca-cola black into a tulip glass with absolutely no head. The aroma was that of coffee and cherries. The mouthfeel was crisp and full-bodied with a medium level of carbonation. The taste started off good with chocolate and cherries but by the end, it was so tart on the back of the tongue, it was all I could do to finish.
