The beer was bottled on February 22, 2008.....and if stored in a cool dry place would keep until 2030 (it said so on the bottle). The beer poured a cloudy gold colour with a very thin white head. The aroma was sour cherries and apples with a little bit of malt. The mouthfeel was dry, very tart, highly carbonated, and medium bodied. The flavour was tart apples, and some graininess. Very enjoyable.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

The beer poured a hazy orange-gold with a rocky white head. The aroma was malt, hops, and pine. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was crisp, some malt, and a bitter grapefruit. Enjoyable.Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

Mike Duggan #9 IPA was a recent finalist at Volo's IPA challenge (May 2009). The beer pours a translucent dark brown (it is referred to as a dark IPA). The head was white, creamy, and about an inch thick. The aroma was sweet malt, citrus, pine, and definitely hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The taste was soapy, with hints of malt, and a bitter grapefruit finish.Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5

No matter how many times I try Guinness, I fail to see why the world appreciates it so much. As I move along with my beer experience, I do tend to give it slightly higher ratings....more to distance it from the trashy swill than to bring it closer to the diamonds of the beer world.Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

The beer poured a transparent gold colour with a thin white head that disappeared fast. The aroma was grainy malt, some hops, and a hint of dishwashing detergent. The mouthfeel was weak bodied, quite watery, and well carbonated. The taste was an ill conceived concoction of grainy malt, grass, and acid.Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

The beer poured a cloudy light lemonade colour with very little head. The aroma had sour hints to go along with some citrusy notes and wheat. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied (quite thin) with only mild carbonation. The flavour was sour wheat malt and some citrus. One of the worst witbiers I have triedAroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

The beer poured a beautiful translucent red with a thin creamy light tan coloured head that stuckj around. The aroma was tart cherries, some wheat malt, and spice. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with weak carbonation, mildly disappointing for the style. The flavour was tart, bold, with definite cherry hints, and a tart and bitter finish.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 5

Two things pop out at me right away. The label says "The fruity pink beer" and it contains "aspartame". So, a fruity pink diet beer?
The beer poured a reddish pink colour with a thin white head that stuck around. The aroma was sour raspberries and grainy malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and highly carbonated. The flavour was sugary sweet. It tasted very good, but not beer-like. More like what Canadians call a 'Cooler'Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

The beer poured a blackish-brown colour with a creamy tan coloured head that lasted and produced a thin film down the side of the glass. The aroma was fairly simple with huints of roasted malt and coffee. The mouthfeel was creamy and full bodied, with mild carbonation. The flavour was extremely refreshing, and great. There were the same hints of chocolate in the flavour, along with a nice bitter finish.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 7

The beer poured a dark transparent brown colour with a thin white head. The aroma was heavy on the sweet malt and grain. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was surprisingly good. Sweet grainy malt, with a nice smooth finish. Very enjoyable.
