The beer poured a pale gold with a thick, foamy, white head that lasted. The aroma was grainy malt, and a little honey. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with mild carbonation. The flavour was more grainy malt, some milky tones, and a little honey. Nothing spectacular about this one.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Part of the 'Old Scottish Ales' 4-pack. The beer poured a transparent muddy brown colour with a short-lived thin head. The aroma was very weak, but there were hints of sweet malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and mildly carbonated. The flavour was bitter, and sweet. Hints of both spruce and pine come through with the malt. The ingredients do not list hops on the bottle - interesting.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

The cider poured a nice transparent reddish-gold with no head. The aroma was sour apples, pears, and raspberries. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with high carbonation. The flavour was fruity and sweet with a strong berry presence. I really enjoyed the taste of this. I almost felt guilty not having another 3-4 of them.
