The beer was a hazy yellow colour with a very white head that persisted throughout the experience. The aroma was a combination of wheat and malt. The mouthfeel was slightly carbonated with some medium-bodiedness. The flavour was wheaty with hints of malt. A good beer, but not a great beer. -

The beer poured a translucent gold into a glass with a loose white head which didn't last very long. There was some hints of malt in the aroma, but not a lot. The mouthfeel was thin, with mild carbonation, and slightly slippery, reminiscent of wheat beers. The flavour was also a bit on the grainy side. Not a beer I would go out of my way to order again, but it did knock another country off my list. -

The beer was a beautiful coppery colour with a one finger head. The aroma was very faint to non-existant. Disappointing to say the least. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was mild, a little malty and a little bitter. I may try this beer again. -

The beer poured a murky gold colour into a chalice glass with a thin white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma was very yeasty, with some malt and cloves. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and slightly champagne in nature. The flavour was that of yeast, malt, and cloves with a dry finish. -

Smokeless Joe’s (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – 125 John Street)
330ml bottle
8.00% ABV

$14.25
The beer poured into a tulip glass a beautiful reddish brown colour with almost no head. Like Biegaman, my bottle was also marked as 8%. The aroma was cognac, malt, alcohol and burnt butterscotch. The mouthfeel was very very smooth with a medium body and some mild carbonation. The taste was very heavy on the cognac, and a little hint of fruit. I did feel the alcohol burn, and for a beer with an 8% abv, that's not good in my book. A little pricey at $14.25/bottle as well when I can visit some other places and get an Abbey Quadrupel for less. -

The beer poured a dark brown with a small head that quickly disappeared. The aroma is malty with a hint of almond. The mouthfeel is thick and fullbodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is a slight touch on the sour side with some citrusy hints backed up by a heavy malty taste. This beer goes down very well.
