    568ml Draught
    5.60% ABV
    $6.49
This was the most uninspired stout I have had in a long time. The waitress said it was in the style of a Guinness, and that should have been my cue as I'm not a fan of Guinness. It poured a dark brown with black edges, and a creamy brown head. Aroma was weak roast with some coffee and chocolate in the background. Mouthfeel was weak to medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was weak roast, weak coffee, and weak chocolate. So, not offensive......but not memorable.

The beer poured a golden orange colour with a thick light tan head. Not even close to the copper colour mentioned on the menu (although the accompanying menu picture was close to what was in my stein). The aroma was grains and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, citrisy hops, and anise. Eventually the taste was the same as the smell of shoe polish.

The beer poured a translucent light gold with a huge fluffy white head. The aroma was grains, spices, herbal hops, and yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was quite grainy with notes of yeast, spice, and a hoppy finish.

The beer poured a solid brown colour with translucent edges. The cap was tan coloured and thin. The aroma was plums, caramel, and spices. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour came across as dry with caramnel, citrus, fruit and peppery notes. A good beer.

The beer poured a translucent medium gold colour with a thin snow white head that lasted a while. The aroma was grassy malts, cereal, yeast and some floral hops. Mouthfeel was medium bodiued with medium carbonation. The Les 3 Brasseurs yeast is very distinctive and was very noticeable in the flavour. Smells and tastes like a Belgian strain. Aside from the yeast, the flavour is dominated by the malt.

The beer was a translucent dark cherry red with a very thin white head that hung around on the surface. The aroma was sweet malt, wheat, caramel and hops. The mouthfeel was full-bodied with medium carbonation, The flavour was sweet malt, some wheat malt, and a bitter finish. There was definitely some hefe/witbier characteristics

The beer poured a translucent brownish red with a foamy light tan coloured that lasted. The aroma was sweet caramel malt, candy sugar, yeast, and spices. The mouthfeel was full bodied with mnedium carbonation. The flavour was sweet with maltiness and sugar, and spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. I really enjoyed this beer.

The aroma was malty and the beer was a golden colour. The first mouthfeel provided a soapy taste to it. Future tastes provided less soap and a clove/nutmeg taste. Overall I was pleasantly surprised as the higher alcohol content wasn't as evident as I thought it would be.
