The 3 Brewers, Yonge Street (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
250ml Draught
9.00% ABV
$6.49
The beer poured a solid brown colour with translucent edges. The cap was tan coloured and thin. The aroma was plums, caramel, and spices. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour came across as dry with caramnel, citrus, fruit and peppery notes. A good beer.

First brew to try at the newest brewpub, in Ottawa. Pours a clean copper colour with a small off-white head that leave good lace. Beautiful mild aromas of spices, warming alcohol and cereal malts. Medium-full mouthfeel. Very nice bitterness the whole way with the hops. Decent sweetness from the grain balancing things. Feels like an Imperial IPA, but with the caramel malt balancing it all. I really liked it as my first taste of The 3 Brewers.

Enjoyed a few 4oz samplers at the new brewpub in Ottawa on Sparks st. then proceeded to rate this great winter seasonal. Arrived with a big foamy head and goas away quickly but leaves a small layer with some bubbles. Has a pretty dark amber appareance with reddish hues. Good lacing. Has aromas of malts and hops for sure. Quite flavourful with a good balance of hops and malts, notes of caramel and bit of chocolate and coffee but just enough, and not too abundant. Smooth creamy malty mouthfeel. If it's 9% abv, sure doesn't show that much, which is a good thing but deceiving as well. Good stuff but too bad only a seasonal.
