English A light beer featuring a selection of aromatic hops, the Blonde displays a complex, fruity character and contains a fine bitterness, making it thirst-quenching and delicious. A Blonde beer makes excellent company! Made with 100% pale Pilsen malt, it is a straw-coloured ale, with a lovely brilliance. The selection of aromatic hops added to the boil and presenst themselves both in scent and flavour, displaying a delicate bitterness in the beer, making it refreshing and tasty.

March 2, 2012
The 3 Brewers, Yonge Street (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
568ml Draught
5.20% ABV
$6.49
The beer poured a translucent medium gold colour with a thin snow white head that lasted a while. The aroma was grassy malts, cereal, yeast and some floral hops. Mouthfeel was medium bodiued with medium carbonation. The Les 3 Brasseurs yeast is very distinctive and was very noticeable in the flavour. Smells and tastes like a Belgian strain. Aside from the yeast, the flavour is dominated by the malt.

After having their Blossom beer, thought I would try this blonde ale, as it probably close to the other. Pours a clean golden colour with a decent white head and sticky spot lacing. Slight sweet malt aromas with fruity notes, hops and yeast. Pretty much the same for the taste, but the hops take over the sweetness. Yeast lingers with a very light dryness. This one a little better overall. Gets hoppier as it warms up, looking closer to a pale ale. Quite decent overall for a session brew at this place. Great for the $4/pint Tuesdays.

Enjoyed a pint at the new location in Ottawa on Sparks st. Has a fairly persistent bubbly white head and a golden appearance. Aromas are mostly of herbal hops and malts, mostly grainy. Slightly more citrus hopped flavours with malty finish. Strong citrus bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with some lively carbonation, slight creaminess. Not too bad.

Bitter, alas overpoweringly so. Poor head - I knew another blonde like that once lol and the body is a tad cloying, but it's drinkable like most of their brews. Not the one I'd go to first though

This was a refreshing beer. A nice clear goilden hue with a thick white short lasting head. Aroma was biscuity malt, and floral hops. The flavour was well balanced between malty grass and hops.
