Pours out a murky dark gold color with a big thick head. The aroma is of hops. The mouthfeel is pretty average. The taste has hints of citrus and hops but I don't find it to be bitter.

A murky orange-amber colored beer with a big frothy textured, white-beige head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. It settles eventually into a thick sudsy ringlet and low lying film. Overall profile in both nose and tasting of citric hops and biscuit malt. Medium bodied, smooth and effervescent.

A brighter hop character than expected (which is nice) but not a whole lot going on after that. Thin and simple. A little carboard and caramel. If not for the cirrusy hops this would suck. As it is, ok.

Pours thick with a slight foam head that hangs around for more than awhile. Copper color and no aroma. Looks like a good IPA, but looks can be deceiving. This beer has a slight hoppy taste and a flat body. Finish is of cardboard and metal. In a word, unremarkable.

I thought this was a golden ale after the first few, but seemed a little heavy. Now I see it's a pale ale, so that explains it. Has some decent flavor and hop to it. Light orange appearance. Borderline 8 in flavor, but everything else is just above average, and pretty much average for the style. Nothing really memorable here. A refreshing summer beer though.

Copper body with a clingy, filmy coating of head. Aromas of citrus and piney hops, with a caramel backbone. Flavors are hop forward, with a spicey bite and solid caramel backbone. Citrus tart of lemon and orange zest highlights resiny, with enough sweetness to remain balanced. The finish is bitter, slightly drying. Easy to drink, solid and balanced.

From my Ohio beer haul. Light amber gold pour with a two finger head head and nice lacing. Light pineapple and fruit hopped aroma and flavor, some floralness, clean and crisp, nice little bitter linger on the end. Very very drinkable. Nice introductory APA.

This one pours a clear and bubbly golden amber with a thick and fine-bubbled wheat head. Malty aroma is subtly fruity and hoppy. Mouth-filling malty flavor has firm notes of hops and apple to round it out. Texture has above-average firmness and good fizz.

Another good beer from Widmer. This sessionable pale ale pours an amber/gold with a creamy white head. Aroma and taste of floral and citrusy hops with a light caramel and malt backbone. Mild bitterness makes this very refreshing.
