Bottled (from beerangel.de). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized foamu white head. Aroma is banana, fruits, wheat and somemild spices and herbs. Flavour is grass, wheat, some herbs and also mild nuttyness. Mild notes of caramel too once it warms up. Very pleasant hefe.

It pours a light-butterscotch color with inch-thick fluffy white head and lace remnants. Fresh aroma of barley, light hops, light mint, citrus, light pepper, and even grape-wine background (tarty). The mouthfeel is poor - thin and watery, not building at all. Flavors of barley malts, strong citrus, light hops, grapes, and light spice. Tasty, yet the mouthfeel is weak.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Contract brewed for Weltenburger by Brauerei Bischofshof in Regensburg. ABV is 5.4%. Very pale straw colour, slightly hazy, huge head. Lovely typical Hefe-Weissbier aroma, notes of cloves and banana / bubblegum. The flavour has also banana and cloves, hints of lemons, light bodied, minimal hops.

The first beer I cracked open for New Years Eve. My first impressions on the aroma is...well...where was it? I waited a bit for it to warm-up, thinking that perhaps I had it a bit too cold. After a bit, I could pick up bubblegum notes, some cloves too but it was all so average. Nice hazy yellow hue, nice head retention. Taste is a bit spicy, bubblegum with a faint citrus taste. Overall, I'd say it's dirnkable of course. Could it have been better? Are there better examples? Yes and yes.

Very nice pour from the bottle, huge pillowy head, solid lacing. The aroma was tilted toward apples, cider, bananas, almost no spicing, perhaps some pepper? The flavor was a bit disappointing, too much apples / apple cider, very light bananas, some citrus notes, plastic, and even caramel with increasing temperatures (caramel in a hefe, me no likes). The mouthfeel was balanced, a little dryness, almost a light hop vs. spice bite at the end. Not a great hefe, but it was unique if that's what you're looking for (also pretty drinkable, not even close to cloying sweet).

Hazy golden with a big white head. Yeasty but a bit unclean aroma of riped bananas and spices. Thin flavour of citrus yeast and banana. Weak finish. Pretty mediocre weizen.

This beer pours a clear gold with a good head. The aroma is a weak bubblegum and clove. Overall, the beer is a bit ehh. It's a dissapointment for the style.

Light gold color, medium head. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet. Mild tasting wheat beer. Some banana and clove taste. Mild malts and some hoppyness. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is a little thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a hazy yeloow colour with a sizable white 'dimply' head. Spicy and yeasty, with faint bubblegum aroma. Spicey, citrusy taste again with slight bubblegum. Nice sour/spicey finish. Medium mouthfeel a bit thin at the end. Not outstanding but very drinkable.
