04.23.05 Tap and TAP NY. Dark brown, thin head, served too cold. Lighter fruit aromas, not very roasty, very dry. I don’t get much maple or sweetness. It’s good with a clean finish.

This was a boomer. The beer didn’t foam in the bottle, but once it hit the glass, it exploded into a light tan head. Very stiff and meringue-like once it settled down. Very dark brown didn’t let much light through at all. Overall a very attractive beer. Slight creosote in the aroma along with molasses. The molasses carries into the flavor with a very slight bit of smoke backing it up. Ok, but overcarbonated.

Full bodied porter.Brown in color. Really enjoyable. Malty. Caramel aromas. Not much maple in the taste. Godo beer.

Dark brown with thin tan head. I didn't taste any maple in this nor was there anything else distinguishing about this either. It did have a bitter chocolate something going on, but that's it.

The dark coloring of this one is very appealing to look at. The aroma is fine but a bit strong and somewhat sourish. The taste was good (and I am not a fan of dark beers)....there was a bit of a maple flavoring to it that made it unique and enjoyable.
