On tap at Tuscadora Mill in Leesburg, VA. Pours a very hazy pale straw with a one finger head that takes a long time to fade to a nice cap. The lacing is thick and sticky, leaving a nice sheet behind. Smell; lots of cloves and wheat, with a little bit of bananas thrown in. There was a nice lemony citrus, as well as a touch of a peppery spiciness. Taste; very nice wheat flavor right away, and then fades into the cloves, bananas and lemons. The spiciness that was in the aroma is there, it just took until the beer warmed up to come out. This was also a a little sweet in the finish. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and very smooth, and the drinkability was really good, as I had no problem consuming a couple of these during dinner.

Nose: Banana, Orange, Honey, Cookie Dough Appearance: Huge everlasting egg whites head covers a pale, slightly hazed, gold body that continually effervesces. SPOT ON FOR STYLE!!! Mouth: Medium bodied, slick, tingly Flavor: Best American here I've had. Well balanced and hits all the proper notes. The banana, clove routine is, unlike most US Heffe's, understated, nicely grassy at the end and just a bit more hops bitterness than expected, but I like! Finish is slightly sweet and alrighty sour.

Wheaty aroma has a firm yeasty note and a not-so-subtle floral note. It pours a somewhat hazy golden yellow with a thick but effervescent eggshell head that leaves some good lacing. Crisp, refreshing flavor is wheaty and malty with a nice fruity underpinning that can be apple in one sip, lemon in the next, banana in the next. Mouthfeel is firm and smooth, if not overly fizzy. Perfect for a hot summer day that’s driving you mad!

Aromas of wheat, a touch of clove, and bubblegum. The body is a hazy mid yellow with a thin cap that disappeared quickly.Flavor of malted wheat, grass with a touch of alcohol on the back end. Overall it was ok, being from Victory i was hoping for a bit more.

A hazy yellow colored beer with a big frothy textured, off white head rising above. There's decent hang time on the head. It settles into a thick ringlet and persistent cap. Total profile in both nose and on tongue is wheat and cloves. The cloves is a bit disconcerting. Light, effervescent body.

Hazy sparkling golden yellow with a thick white head and good lacing. Thirst quenching and lively wheat. Mild banana and clove with some bubblegum and grass.

Poured a hazy orange/yellow color with very small head. Aroma was spicy, of cloves. Didn't have the banana aroma i expected. Flavor was wheaty cloves. Not bad at all will do again

Lightly cloudy pale yellow with good head with light lacing. It could probably stand to be cloudier. There’s more clove than banana on the nose, but the banana comes out more in the flavor. A good dry wheat backbone backs the yeast flavors up nicely.

I could ditto eaglefan538's review...but that would be kinda boring. One difference, though...my version (on tap at brewery) didn't look unfiltered...in fact, it was crystal clear pale yellow (odd?). Mouthfeel was rather bubbly. The spices (cloves mainly) were VERY STRONG, as was the banana flavoring. In fact, the spices were so strong, I found it difficult to actually taste the wheat. Despite that, I was digging it...and I'd go back again.

I enjoyed this unfiltered, cloudy, nice dark golden yellow colored beer. Not only were the usual citrus and banana flavors detectable, but the spices came across nicely. This bordered on a Belgian witbier and certainly transgressed German purity laws. I'd have this one again, no doubt.
