poured from a brown bottle that shows ABV at 5.2%/ 30 IBU in 2012. nice cloudy dark color with a white head that stays. aroma is hoppy and taste is bready and malty and a hop aftertaste.

A bold orange in color with a medium sized, sudsy textured off white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. A thin ringlet is left behind. General profile of grassy hoppiness. Effervescent and an easy drink.

Bottle at Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy amber colour with a rich lively white foam. Caramel in the aroma with notes of berries, earth and mild resin. Medium-bodied with rather clean notes of caramel, mild resin, citric fruits and strawberries. Medium-bitter finish of caramel and resin.

Although I prefer IPAs, this is the type of beer that, for me, shows why APAs are so good as well. Pours a copper color with a nice white head. Aroma isn't overpowering but still hoppy--fruity and floral. Slightly bitter taste although well balanced. Very easy to drink--would make a good session beer for hop heads.

This beer poured a slightly cloudy amber color with a frothy white head. It had a nice hoppy aroma with a slight hint of orange peel. It had a smooth flavor with a dominant hop presence.

Clear copper color, giant lasting head, and big spots of lacing. Earthy malt aroma, rather musty with a nice dose of flowery hops. Quenching with a good malty body, easy to drink more than one. Flavor is pretty nice. Good balance with some malts that have a good biscuit/bread flavor, and some bitter hops that provide a nice floral taste. Moderately bitter, it's a relaxing easy beer.

12 fl. oz bottle, thanks to BA richgo6. 12.5 degrees Plato, 36 IBU. ABV is 5.1%. Amber coloured beer, decent off-white head. Very nice aroma of fruity hops, notes of grapefruit, rambutan and blackcurrant leaves, hints of toffee and resin too. The flavour is maltier and less hoppy than the aroma made me expect, but the hops are still noticeable. Moderate resiny notes, some sweetness, quiet finish. Not bad.

From a bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with a white head. Aroma is light and unimpressive. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Flavor is light on the hops. Really disappointing in my opinion. Won't be seeking this one out.

Pours a muddy brown colour with a medium sized vanilla head. Aroma is pleasent hopped and slightly piney. Taste is comfortable, soft biscuity malts midpalate with a battle of sweet and bitter hops rounding off the finish.

bitterness and hop flavor/ characteristics are a little on the low side, and malt flavor is more than present. this is a bit of an anomaly for an APA. slightly thin body. ok coloring- golden honey color. carbonation isn't strong. citrusy flavor is the thing that stands out the most in this, not that it's overpowering. initial hit is malt, this does end with a slight bitterness.
