Pours wtih a dark brown to black body topped by a medium thick, lasting head with lots of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty with a slight roastiness and a hint of vanilla and coffee. Full bodied and smooth.

This sweet tout pours a deep black color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate and some roasty malts. Kind of sweet. A medium bodied sweet stout. Malts are chocolate and coffee, touch of vanilla. Hops are earthy. Lots of roast coffee flavors as it warms, more in the middle of the taste than anywhere else. Perhaps a little thin in the mouth for a oatmeal stout, but works ok as a sweet stout. Nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Very dark, almost black cola brown. The head is a nice tan and very dense and lasting. The aroma is a big pop of rich chocolate. Some oatmeal and caramel lurk below the chcolate marshmallows. There’s some dates swirling around in the flavor with a bit of roast supporting the sweeter elements. Very tasty and satisfying oatmeal stout.

I couldn't taste a thing of oatmeal and it wasn't very sweet either, but not bad (just not what I expected). Beer poured dark, dark brown with almost no head at all. Flavor was coffee and roasted malts. Tasted better as it warmed.

This beer poured a dark brown/black body with a medium sized tan head that left decent lace. Aroma was rich roasted malt. Mouthfeel was medium to full bodied. Flavor was sweet roasted malt and caramel. A decent overall sweet stout.

poured a deep black with some maroon hints in it had a nice white head that desolved very quickly the flavor was mostly of chocolate and coffee not real sure why it is a oatmeal stout because it tasted more like a chocolate stout to me but still pretty good

Was a good beer. Poured a dark brown color with red edges, thin tan head that faded quickly. Aroma was of chocolate and coffee. Could taste hops in the finishing taste. This beer tasted way better warm, even more so then others. Heavy mouthffeel was well done, bitter coffee aftertaste. Well done.

A very nice showing, but not excellent. Poured a dark brown to black color with burgundy edges and a nice thin tan head that did fade after a few sips. Aroma was of roasted coffee and chocolate, but the oats were not that noticeable to me. (I have a hard time with the oats in any of the oatmeal stouts, though.) The hopppy balance to the finish was actually quite nice and well done (ie. not overdone). Nice heavy mouthfeel with a mildly bitter aftertaste.

Nice head on the pour, but it dissipates quickly. The label claims it to be rich (true), robust (true), creamy (NOT), dark (true). Very dark, but the taste doesn't live up to expectations. This is my favorite style of beer, but unfortunately it has a tinny taste and a dirt aftertaste. Still worth a try, but I've had much much better for the same price.

This review is from notes previously taken thanks to argo0 for this one. Black, meringue like tan head. The mouthfeel is light, the taste is roasty & slightly sweet. A nice winter beer
