  Lawsons ain’t what it used to be! Or maybe it’s me?!?! Seems to me their brews were a bit hoppier. Canned February 11th so it’s not like it’s too old.

  Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7

  Small white head with fair retention and lace. Hazy orange colored brew. Med/full bodied with a mild carbonation. Aromas and flavors of stone fruits, Citrus and lightly toasty malts. Dry finish with a lasting bitterness. Sort of an old school WCIPA with the modern day haze thing goin on. Okay brew.

  Small white head, fades quickly. Hazy gold color. Funky, tart nose, apples, citrus, fried wiring. Light bodied, TART, juicy, clean. Lotsa sour, hint of granny smiths, light grain, citrus and leather. Bone dry, just like i like,m. Bottle from StefanSD. Thanks for donating to the cause my friend.

  Westbrook Mexican Cake Imperial Stout

  Thin tan head that fades quickly. Black, murky appearance. Spicy nose, chocolate and earth. Full bodied, chewy, oily slick with a tired carbonation, warming on the palate. Chocolate, caramel and spices, maybe a bit too much spice? Milk chocolate and earthy pepper flavors. Finish is long and heated but still drinkable. Decent but not a brew for continuous slurping. Draft at the Brewery. Had a couple snifters. The second one went down hard.Not sure what all the fuss is about.

  Stone Vengeful Spirit IPA

  Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7

  Medium sized off white head with fair retention, skimpy lace. Hazy blond color, chunkulative. Nice fruity nose, pineapple and citrus. Body is medium, tingly carbo, touch oily. citrus and fruits, lil bubble gum and pine. Lightly sweet finish with a certain ,,, tang. Cute lil bugger. 12oz can from statelineliquors.
