Light copper colour pour with a large off white head. Excellent lacing. Breaded malt and citrus aroma (both mild). Malt presence in the flavour is substantial. beer also has a moderate citrus and grassy flavour. Medium mouthfeel and more carbonated than most pale ales.

Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)

The beer pours a hazed rusty gold colour with a thin bubbly off-white cap. The aroma is very citrusy with background notes of herbs, caramel, and malt. The mounthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is citrusy hops, caramel, and some yeast notes. Quite refreshing for a hot day. -

Pours a huge frothy off-white head and has a rusty amber looking appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas of citrus hops and sweet, honey malts. Flavours are quite hoppy, with notes of cascade and golding hops. Malts are mainly Munich. Quite sweet with more notes of honey. Some very subtle hints of caramel as well. Good balance of sweetness and bitterness. Medium bodied. Great retention.

Single can from the LCBO. Pours a golden-amber colour with a big creamy warm cap, good retention and some thick foamy lace. Grassy hop nose with some citrus notes. Grainy cereal taste with the hops slowly appearing in the finish, creating some light bitterness and dryness. Again, citrus in the aftertaste. An easy drinking APA, just lacking a little blending in the flavours.

Can: Poured a golden light copper color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of clean cereal taste with medium bittering hops. Taste is also a well balanced mix between some clean refined cereal with bittering hosp with light bitter finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well done with great refreshing and drinkability factor.

This beer is great. Awesome hops, still prominent malts, great fruit but dry. Not pukering dry, but dry. Too bad the beer is gone before I finished the review...... not gassy, fills the mouth but not heavy. super smooth, goes like crazy, tangy citrus. Beerchronic says peppermint, can see it looking back, maybe, but its not the mint flavour, i think that it is more just the feeling of peppermint in your mouth, strong and big but not heavy. Like a dry light peppermint.... very constructive criticism I know..... Get some, drink it, get more, drink that too, move to kelowna and work at tree

Pours a clear light amber with a smallish tight cap that settles quickly to a glass lacing ring. Aroma profile is dominated by caramelized malts with some citrusy-floral chinook hopping Flavor is pretty base line for a commercial pale; caramel-toffee tones balanced with light herbal-lightly bitter hops with a fast clean lightly dry finish. Boiler plate micro ale for sessioning...nothing more.

Pours a beautiful copper colour with a medium sized white head. Great appearance. The nose is malty with distinct hops. The taste is sweet with a definite malty taste and a hint of hops. Overall very good ale.

Beer appears to be a dull copper in color with a massive off white creamy head, billions of micro floaters are suspended in the body, the entire glass gets covered in walls of lacing during each sip, very tasty looking brew. Citrucy hops, creamy malts make up most of this delicious aroma, the hops are perfectly balanced not over powering but not understated, there seems to be a touch of a vanilla sent that I could detect as well, maybe the aroma is a touch watered down but still very good. So very clean tasting, lots of hops but not insane, you can still taste all the rich creamy malts. This brew has tons of flavor, smooth and clean not overly bitter but not to sweet either just a perfectly balanced beer that leaves no after taste. Hmmmm… I think I notice a mild soapy flavor on large gulps. Wow what a fantastic brew, this beer is going to get insanely high marks, but why? - Is it because I was desperate for a brew tonight? - Was the last beer I drank so horrible this one was fantastic in comparison? - Or was this beer just really this good? Either way this brew is fawking awesome the people at Tree Brewing are gods!!!

Pours a nice dark orange color, 1 inch head of creamy thick bubbles. Leaves solid lace coating all the way down. The smell is what I was expecting from the style - spicy hops to start then the full citrusy, pink grapefruit aroma. The taste is very well balanced, malty with ample bitterness, leaving a warm finish and aftertaste. Just a touch of sharp pine right at the end. It's body is thick and creamy smooth. A toned-down version of Tree's Hophead, but still a very good pale ale on its own.
