Tried this for the first time in the winter, but more of a summer beer. Bought it for a card game, with mostly bud/miller light drinkers. One buddy likes IPAs so grabbed the Terrapin IPA-mix pack. Good for the occasion, or for something light to pair with a meal. Has some flavor and hops packed in there...but definitely on the lighter side.

A nice session IPA. Golden-straw color, moderate fluffy white head and decent lacing. Pleasantly hoppy aroma and flavor, with a good bite up front and enough malt to hold it together on the pallette and finish. Would be nice for a cookout.

Yellow sunshine in color with a big sudsy textured white head rising above. There's great hang time on the head. A thick ringlet is left behind. Fruity citrus of oranges and lemons with the more astringent hoppiness of citrus and lemongrass in total profile. Light, effervescent, easy to drink.

A cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. The aroma punches you in the face with pine and some lemons and oranges showing up. The flavor is quite bitter with mostly citrus and little to no malt presence. This is a big beer for being under 5%. Overall nice session beer for a hophead. Good.

The Southern version of Founders All Day IPA: Light golden straw color pour, bubbly white head, nice lacing. Fresh and clean hopped aroma and flavor, good initial bitter and yet light and super drinkable. Light lemongrass and citrus zest, nicely offset by light sweet malt presence. Might be my next summer's go to IPA. Good stuff - Easy!

Pours a clear, slightly amberish yellow with a fairly thick and frothy ivory head. Strong aroma is quite hoppy, more at an IPA rather than a "regular" pale ale. Lively, hoppy, resiny ale has a definite IPA feel, a malty undertone, a little woodiness and minimal bitterness. Texture is firm, fizzy and bold. Indoors or outdoors, a very enjoyable ale.
