It has a unique roasted aroma, flavor and subtle sweetness. Velvety-smooth on the tongue, you will pick up hints of coffee, caramel and chocolate in the taste.

I was really impressed by this one. It poured black with a thick white head and lots of lacing. The mouthfeel was rich and creamy with an excellent balance of sweet malt to just the right bitter finish. It paired really well with chicken pot pie. I bought one of these as part of a build your own 6 pack. I should have and will go back for more.

Dark brown w/ a thin tan head. Nose of caramel & molasses. Sweet on the tongue w/ a clean finish. A very enjoyable beer. Thanks hopsrus

12 oz. bottle. Pours a nearly opaque black with red highlights. It has a thin fizzy dark brown head that quickly goes to a thin collar.

The aroma is dark chocolate, coffee and lactose.

The flavor is subdued at first, but comes out more as it warms. Some coffee and chocolate and sweet cream, a little bitter roastiness and a little fruitiness with a tinge of sourness. It has a big full mouthfeel.

    Overall, a solid porter.

Dark brown color with nice sized tan head. Aroma mostly of chocolate followed with roasted malt. Taste is kind of thin bodied and light, like a chocolate malted. Being so thin, it’s very drinkable.

This is the best product they put out. It has a nice dark color and a nice foamy head and tastes like a porter should. Try it if you get the chance.

A great porter at a great price! Tastes like coffee, chocolate and beer all rolled into one. Not too bitter and not too sweet.

Poured a reddish brown color with a light tan medium sized creamy head that left nice lacing. Chocolate roasty malt flavor.

Pours with dark brown body with red highlights topped by a light brown thick lasting head with minimal lacing. Sweet and slightly roasty malt aroma with choclaty notes and very slight fruit accents. Sweet malty flavor with coffee notes and a slight roastiness. the finish is roasty and chocolaty. Full bodied and smooth with a slight warming in the gut.

The porter is a very dark beer. It had a slightly sweet, roasty flavor, with a somewhat tart aftertaste. You really can't go wrong with this beer, it costs about $14/case. For a cheap beer it is pretty good.
