Got this in a sampler pack. Pours a clear golden straw color with a thin white head. Moderate lacing. The hoppy nose has hints of fruit and an occasional appearance from biscuity malts, reminds me almost like an IPA. Biscuity malt throws down layers of grain, mild fruit and flowers.

Medium amber, this is too dark to really be called a golden. Sharp, musty, herbal hops. Strong enough to shock my expectations. Bitterness pushes the envelope of balance.

Pours nice dark gold in color with a nice tight white head. The head will fade into a lace. There is a mixture of hops and malt for the aroma. . The taste is like the aroma. It starts with the malt and finishes off with the hops. This brew has little to no zing behind it. It could be better.

"...a classic English Pale Ale brewed with six specialty malts and aggressively-hopped with hand-selected English Kent Goldings & Fuggles hops", the label touts. Well, that's all well and good, but something is still lacking with this overly so-so beer.
This may have the classic malty base and Fuggles n' Goldings combo, but without the complex English yeast-derived fruitiness, or, rather, some sort of complex esters in the aroma and flavor profile, this kinda falls flat, in my opinion. All dressed up and nowhere to go, so to speak.
This really isn't bad, but overall seems a bit turgid, IMO. Probably better extremely fresh and/or from a cask, FWIW.

Copper color with a thick head that dwindled to a single layer of bubbles after a minute. Almost no lacing. Citrus, hoppy aroma. Flavor is citrus with some buttery slickness that didn't seem right. Finishes with a lot of bitterness! Lingers on like an IPA. Has a very fizzy, prickly texture and a medium body.

Bought a 12 oz bottle after a tour of the somewhat dank brewery. Poured a clear copper color. Despite a vigourous pour, the foam disappeared in less than a minute. Pleasant fruity aroma, almost grapefruity. Body is medium, with a chalky aftertaste. Way overpriced at $8 / 6-pack, I wouldn't recommend it at half that price.
