Peconic County Reserve Ale is the result of a marriage of grape and grain. Local Chardonnay grapes from Osprey's Dominion Vineyards combine with barley malt, wheat and hops to create this unique ale. Barrel aging and refermentation in the bottle add an additional depth of character to this one-of-a-kind brew.

Cloudy gold pour that is almost hefe like in appearance. There is a slight sourness to it that seems like a cross between Thompson grape skins and green apples. A very interesting and delicious brew.

This is a golden beer that has a slightly sour, yet complex flavor. Definitely taste granny smith or pippin apples

A very cloudy and hazy yellow color with some smallish head. Pin point sour aroma. Bond lemon, yellow sour, blonde candy body to it.

Cloudy gold color with nice lasting white head. Aroma of fresh grapes, yeast, peaches and phenols. Taste is tart sour grapes, funky yeastiness and apple. Finish is clean with lemons and a certain dankness.

The cloudy golden body of this beer is topped by a meidum thick head with a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is sour, tart and vinious. The flavor is sour and vinious with a very slight sweet fruitiness. Light bodied and slightly dry.

Brewed in 2002. Poured, out of a beautiful bottle, a sparkling golden color with a large bubbly white head. Wheaty aroma, also included a touch of grapes and a slight musty earth aroma as well. This is best described as a mix between a saison and a white wine. Very interesting, smooth as well. Smooth across the tongue, and a slight bitter wine taste on the sides. I really enjoyed this one, maybe I can make it to NY another time to buy one.
