Making a much requested comeback will be the famous Apple Ale in November. Apple Ale sings with the fresh crisp taste of Wisconsin Apples. Our Brewmaster begins with a brown ale base employing Wisconsin farmed wheat and a blend of Cortland, Macintosh and Jonathan apples. Our apple growing friends squeeze them especially for this brew. Expect this Ale to pour a beautiful copper color. The fresh bouquet of Apple will rise to meet you even before the glass touches your lips.     Pours hazy honey-golden with a thin eggshell head. Aroma is more like "soft" apple cider, but still tempts. Apple flavor is more cider than ever, but more like alcohol-bearing cider. Mouthfeel is form and smooth with some good fizz. Let this apple tempt you!

    Pours just like apple cider with a sub one finger head that goes away very fast. Nicely carbonated. Aroma is almost entirely the same as apple juice. Taste in itself reminds me of Serendipity without the extreme tartness and sour. Hints of apples with some malts. This is a great beer for those who don't like the same old cider taste. Very good.

    If this isn't the best apple beer I'll ever taste.......I don't know what it. This is an awesome beer. It pours a slightly cloudy rust colour, topped by a medium sized white head. The aroma is tart apples, honey, and floral hops and the flavour is more of the same. A lot of apple beers come across as being too tart or too sweet....this one comes across as being just right!

    Struck a fine medium between true cider and a base ale. The tartness and acidic sweetness was countered wonderfully by a mild malt base. Fizzy and effervescent, it's a bit tingly. Worked well as a palate cleanser during a tasting and would be welcomed by me anytime during the Autumn season.

    Pours like champagne, head fizzes away quickly. Aroma is a sweet juicy candy-apple. The mouthfeel is deffinitely beer, with flavors of strong apples and malt. Very good combination and blended together just right. Taste lingers in your mouth much better at cellar temps rather than ice cold.

    if your into apples, this is your ticket. New Glarus continues to prove their forte is in the fruit beers. many juice like qualities, but a deeper flavor abides here. clean as can be, crisp and refreshingly sweet and tart. i don't know how you'd make an apple ale better. would be a perfect drink on a crisp autumn day.

    Poured a light brown with a nice head. Aroma is apples. Very sweet taste, too much for my liking, all apple juice like flavor. A little bit of sourness. If I was big on ciders or apple flavored drinks this would be one of my favorites, but I just don't care to much for the apple flavor.

    Courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours a clear copper color with a thinish white head. Lively carbonation. Very soft on the palate with tart apples and just the right amount of sweet malt to prevent it from feeling like a cider. Very well-rounded, crisp and refreshing. A tasty fruit beer, my wife loved it too, we ended up sharing this one. Thanks pfoxyjohn!

    Thanks to pfoxyjohn for this one. Pours a clear brownish-orange color with not much head but a lot of fizzy carbonation. The aroma is very similar to sweet apple juice. I love the taste. This is the only good fruit beer I've ever had. The taste starts out with sweet, fresh apples and finishes with a tart, carbonated bite. I would love to have another.

    Most thankful to pfoxyjohn for this Wisconsin jewel. Pours a beautiful clear copper with a sustained white ring but no head or noticeable lacing. A little carbonation. Aromas of fresh cut crisp tart Wisconsin apples with a slightly sweet maltiness. Taste is apple cider on steroids - this is what cider wishes it could be. Crisp tart apples with a very slight malty ale backbone. Another masterpiece from New Glarus - and from my friend pfoxyjohn.
