Au Québec, le sirop d’érable est un incontournable, tout comme les bières de microbrasseries. Pourquoi pas mixer les deux afin d’obtenir un liquide sucré et délicieux. First of two Quebec Maple beers tonight (the other being Brouemont). A slight hazed, amber colour with a light beige head, decent stay for the style, but lacing is limited. Maple syrup aromas over fruity amber malts, with a touch of burnt wood. Maple flavours with hops that cut the sweetness. Not syrupy at all in the mouthfeel and a good dryness in the end, but not overly. I have tried a few maple beer recently, but this is the one that taste the most, yet - still easy to drink. Good job !!
