It pours a nice dark clear copper amber, quite appealing, but lack of a good head knocks off a point. Aroma is fairly strong and malty with an overtone of cloves. Flavor is malty and spicy, palatable if not anything special. Texture is ragged and fizzy, leaving behind a tingle that quickly fades. Still, it’s worth a try.

I got a deep amber colored beer with a medium frothy textured, light beige head rising briefly above. Leaves behind a thin persistent ringlet. Nose and flavoring are a dance of grain, sweet caramel-malt, nuts and light barely detectable earthy hop presence. A medium bodied, light carbonated beer. Despite that, it is very drinkable.

Pouring with a modest-sized frothy ivory coloured head which produced a 'bit' of lacing, the colour was a most attractive rich amber. The aroma was gently malted and the taste was of some nice malt. A plesant, refreshing beer to drink.
