Named after our native Florida Manatee, the Sea Cow, who resides in the murky brackish waters of Florida, this beer is dark, flavorful and roasty. This beer is smooth, with a velvety mouthfeel, the roasted malt gives you that rich FAT flavor you want from a stout.

Pours rich coffee brown with a thick and fairly persistent tan head. Aroma is not strong, but promises roast malt, molasses and mocha. Flavor presents all of th above, just more sweet chocolate than molasses, and adds an earthy hint. Mouthfeel offers thin body, especially for a stout, and not much fizz. Overall, though, a good stout. Save the Manatee!

A nice semi-bitter sweet stout. Has that lactose-milky flavor and feel, but also some burnt sugary stuff in there to balance out. Medium thick black appearance with a dark mocha head. Creamy texture. I would like to try this one on tap/nitro.

My first at this new brewery. A black colored beer with some moderating brown notes. A very big sudsy-creamed textured tan head rising above. There's great hang time on the head. Settles onto an impressive lacing of film and ringlet. Creamy milk chocolate nose. More of the same in the tasting. Light bodied.
