Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Bottle: Poured a deep black with a creamy tan head. Sweet chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is creamy dark chocolate and a light roasted caramel malt, there is a slight bitter coffee.

Poured dark dark brown with light brown head. Pretty nice aroma of chocolate malts, roasted malts, coffee and hints of vanilla. Fairly thin body with coffee, burnt malts, chocolate malts and light notes of vanilla flavors. Ends with a nice coffee and black patent malt taste.

35,5cl bottle from SuperAlko, Tallinn. Pours very dark brown with a modest, beige head. Roasty aroma with some spicy and slightly wooden notes, chocolate, dark dried fruits and caramel. Medium sweet with roasty flavours and a mild bitterness. Enjoyable.

I almost didn’t buy this because of my previous bad experiences with stouts. Friendly roasty wood aroma. Very good flavor. Interestingly bitter, but not quite as bitter as many of the other real stouts I’ve had. Since I don’t really like stouts per se, I am surprised I find this enjoyable. To say it is creamy? Only because it is by Sam Adams. It could be more creamy, however, very nice. Roasty feel on the taste buds. I think this is the best stout I’ve had for awhile. No burned bitter real offensive finish like other stouts.

Poured nearly flat, swirled up a cute little light brown head that stuck around till the end. Black brew with brown highlights around the edges. Roasty nose somewhat phenolic. Med/thin body, the creaminess is there. Roasted malt flavors, licorice, coffe and chocolate, tastey. Finish is roasty, dry. Suprisingly, drinkable! Good brew.

Aroma is very strong and smoky, with hints of coffee and chocolate. It just screams "Drink me!" It pours a beautiful sable, nearly black and opaque, with a thick tan head. Flavor does not disappoint - it is rich and smoky with whispers of chocolate and coffee. It goes down smooth and lively and leaves a pleasant aftertaste like burnt coffee that has a touch of chocolate in it. A must for any stout and porter fanatic.

That first taste and I thought to myself. Now I know why I've never tried cream stout YUCK! However after the third drink it smoothed out a bunch but the sour taste never went away. The aroma is all malt and smells great.

Not a bad milk stout at all. Mild nose, mild flavors, real easy to drink. I thought the mouthfeel could have been richer, it would have made all points better than average.
