Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Aroma is very strong and smoky, with hints of coffee and chocolate. It just screams "Drink me!" It pours a beautiful sable, nearly black and opaque, with a thick tan head. Flavor does not disappoint - it is rich and smoky with whispers of chocolate and coffee. It goes down smooth and lively and leaves a pleasant aftertaste like burnt coffee that has a touch of chocolate in it. A must for any stout and porter fanatic.

That first taste and I thought to myself. Now I know why I've never tried cream stout YUCK! However after the third drink it smoothed out a bunch but the sour taste never went away. The aroma is all malt and smells great.

Not a bad milk stout at all. Mild nose, mild flavors, real easy to drink. I thought the mouthfeel could have been richer, it would have made all points better than average.

Thick and clumsy pour. Obsidian body. Thick foam cap that settles in short order. Sweet and sour smell. Medium mouth feel. Slightly silky.Taste is of burnt grain and sweetened condensed milk. Finish is burnt caramel. I love it. A fantastic beer.

Pours a deep brown color with a thick, tan head. The aroma consists of roasted malt and has a residual sweetness that dominates the aromoa. The taste is roasty and chocolatey, with significant sweetness. There's also a mild weird off putting flavor. The mouthfeel is full bodied with fair carbonation. Note stout beers are not my favorite style.

Not my favorite stout, but an enjoyable beer to be sure. Aroma was light with hints of coffee and chocolate. I enjoyed the flavor, but there was a bitter-roasty bite on the back end. Which one would expect from a stout, but it did not meld well with the sweet cream-stout flavor. I enjoyed it, but won't go out of my way for another.

I love All kinds of Stouts. Foreign, Extra, Dry, Oatmeal, Imperial, you name it and i would or have tried it. SA specialty brews sometimes hit the mark and other times fall short. I going to say this hit the mark for an American Cream Stout. The head rose and disappeared rather fast although the lacing stayed constant. The color was true stout black and deep. In the mouth it wasnt thin at all. and i was met with the sweet scent of choc-expresso-meets milk man cream. The after taste was very smooth and nice. I drank this as i made Irish corned beef. It set the tone for dinner and would have to say i would drink again. Ive been a life long fan of Guiness, so i must add the the Balck Lager is the shit.

Pours the classic opaque obsidain you expect out of a stout. Thick, yet rapidly dispersing head. Gently laces the glass. Nose is milk chocolate and coffee with a generous measure of cream. Sweet without being cloying. Flavor is light with sweet cream and coffee. Well rounded body and balanced through to finish. The milk chocoalte hit make this an excellent prospect for a stout float. Very nice example of the style, and from Sam Adams to boot!!! Sliante!!!

Was not really sure what to think of this beer as it was my first sweet stout. I enjoyed it but I think it really needs to be paired with food and not alone. It pour a dark brown with a tan head that dissipated pretty quick. It was odd but the aroma was not much but I did detect a hint of vanilla. THe mouthfeel was different and a little wierd as it did feel like I was drinking milk and the taste had a very creamy, chocolate taste to it. I think paired with the right desert this beer would be great.

Poured a very dark brown almost black with a red tinge to it when in the light. Had a nice large khaki head that lasted throughout and very good lacing. The aroma was kind of sweet with a coffee smell to it. Very good flavor as well, coffee, chocolate and some bitterness at the end. Superb beer!
