Wow I only bought this because I never had it. I not only didn't know it was a milk stout. I didn't know it was from the Caribbean islands. It's solid black with a tan head. The aroma is malt and chocolate. The mouthfeel is very smooth and thick. The taste is of chocolate, malt and sweet lactose. This is a very fine beer the best I've ever had out of the islands.

I bought this at a local liquor outlet and the cashier told me it was English, needless to say that when I looked at the bottle and saw Trinidad I feel lied to. Anyway, a nice black pour with a brown cap. Lots of chocolate and sweet malt in the aroma. Flavour is very chocolatey with hints of coffee. Excellent value, despite the lack of knowledge at the LCBO.

The beer pours a solid black colour with a medium brown coloured head that lingers. The aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, and a hint of yeast. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with some chalkiness, and the carbonation is average. The flavour is sweet chocolate milk, bitter coffee, and some roastiness that lingers. -

Rated best Milk Stout on this site so far, so pumped to try it. Pours a very dark colour with little red highlights. Big light brown-coloured head with great retention and some dirty lacing. Coffee aromas were released at first, but left pretty quickly, remaining with hoppy grass smell. After breathing some more, sweet caramel comes out, but all of this is very mild. The mouthfeel is between oily and creamy. The taste is pretty mild as well. Roasted malts, a little sweetness, raisins, grass and chocolate. Thankfully, this one is not too sweet, as listed in the ingredients are lactose (milk sugar), sugar and caramel. Because it is mild all-around, this one is easier to drink, but the sweetness will still, eventually get to you.

Very dark brown/ black in colour. Creamy tan to brown head retains well and leaves moderate lacing. Roasted malt and chocolate aroma. Flavour is very sweet but balanced out with the roast character and chocolate. Medium-bodied and creamy. Very drinkable.

Bottle - pours a deep opaque black with a 3 finger puffy mocha cap - mderate retention and good lacing qualities. Aroma is rather undertated but there is enough roasty -lactose tones to leav a definate impression. Flavour has roasty, cocoa, coffee, tastes up front, decernable bitterness but the lactose sweetness comes in in the finish - not cloying but demure. Rather a light body for the style but as a commercial effort this is very decent. I’ll buy more before it vanaishes from the government dairy bar shelves.

Sampled from bottle. Pour opaque dark chocolate brown with a tan head. Rich, malty aroma with cocoa and coffee. The flavor is the same but I would note that for such a low OG beer, the malts are very pronounced. Clean yeast. Incredibly smooth. Worth a try.
