Holy Banana Split Batman! This is IT! Thinnish brown pour with a short but tight tannish head, good lacing. This really does smell just like a banana split: bananas, chocolate syrup, slight cherries! with cocoa, light roasted malts, just a hint of dark chocolate and java. Taste is pert-near the same. Nice sweet bananas, Hershey's Chocolate Syrup, very light cherries, then some roasted malts, hint of coffee, some funky yeasts. Different. GREAT! This beer wowed the crowd at Knoxville Brewers' Jam this year. Awesome concoction.

Nice jet blackness with a big foamy texture light tan head rising above. There's some hang time on this one. Settles into light dusting of film and medium sized ringlet. Bananas and smoky bitter-chocolate malt are in the profile. Light medium bodied. Smooth. Delivers!

Smoky, chocolaty aroma has a strong overtone of banana - hey, I love bananas. It pours a deep, warm sable with a decent tan head that doesn't last but leaves some decent lacing. Smoky flavor has chocolate and banana notes - banana split indeed! - plus hints of caramel, bread and coffee. It is a little sweet, but not cloying, and rather lip-smacking. Smooth, heavy texture is a bit syrupy and somewhat fizzy, leaving a satisfying smoky, tingly finish with a strong banana note. Go bananas over this one!
