The beer pours a translucent dark brown colour with blackened edges and a creamy brown head which clings to the sides of the chalice. The aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, and weak hints of marshmallows. Kind of disappointing given how the aroma in the other cans was strong on the specialty flavours. The mouthfeel is weak bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is roasted malt, light notes of coffee and chocolate, and a little more marshmallow in the finish. I’m glad these are done!

Pours a dark brown colour with hazy cola highlights. The beige head dissipates quickly, and does not leave much. The aromas are quite nice and sweet. Loads of chocolate, cocoa powder, mild coffee and even maple syrup. The mouthfeel is quite thin, maybe helping a little to go down, as not syrupy for such a sweet stout. The taste is quite milder as well, with more of the marshmallow flavours. Still some chocolate notes. A good, interesting light sweet stout.
