this beer is big and chewy, with a very hoppy presence (obviously) but more malty than you expect. That works more for the body than the flavor, but it's pretty darn good anyway.

Bottle courtesy of SS: Poured a deep clear orangey color ale with a nice foamy head with some good retention and very good lacing. Aroma of bitter and citrus notes with low caramel malt notes. Taste is also dominated by some fresh bitter hops with some nice citrus notes with a nice malt profile with some sweet notes. Body is quite full with some great carbonation and no alcohol notes are detectable. Very well done.

Thanks be to eaglefan538, my pal, for this one. Beer poured cider brown, smallish head, some lace. Aroma was pine. Flavor was really hoppy with caramel malt sweetness underneath. Some other bitterness there, not pine, with nondescript flavor. Nice thick mouthfeel. This is one of the more bitter DIPA's I've had.

Poured amber orange color with a nice intial head and ok retention. Lacing was weak. The aroma was of grapefruits, caramel, and some pine. Flavor followed suit with some floral, leathery fruit type flavors (apricot), and a very strong, lingering bitter finish (a serious bittering hop in this one). The mouthfeel was nice for a dIPA, the dry bitterness fending off any stickiness that may have otherwise been there. A decent dIPA, but very bitter.

I’ve seen this brewery’s beers around Atlanta and never bought them because the labels look pretty stupid and gimmicky. This beer surprised me though. Nice malty backbone. Sweet, but not too sweet. The hops are fresh tasting and up front and aggressive, but a little on the harsh side, but not so harsh as to push it into the undrinkable area.

Poured a hazy, dark amber color with an off white head that left good lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, and floral hops. Flavor was piney, and major grapefruit flavor. Good beer.

ReaperAle Sleighor Double IPA poured a deep amber colored body with a nice thick tan head that left minor lacing. The taste was hoppy mixed with bitterness. It still has a slightly citrusy grapefruit flavor that works nice. A pretty good Imperial IPA.

Light copper pour with a decent head that sticks around through out. Piney citrus nose. Medium/light body with a smack you in the face hop presence. No attempt at balance here. Another over the top west coast hop monster.

Not sure how i havent rated this yet as i have had it many times. Its got a nice amberish sunset look to it and is fairly transparent. I get alot of graipfruits in the aroma and the body. Very big, with a wet feel to it. The best thing ive had from this brewery.
