Love this beer. Maybe because it is always so fresh when I drink it (Real Ale brewery is about 15 miles from where I live.) Great aroma/appearance, and the Saaz hops give it that initial bite I love.

This TX beer courtesy of jerrymorrison. Pours a nice, near clear amber with a two-finger head that is sustained and nice lacing. Aromas of Saaz hops, sweet grass, malts. Taste is a bit thin but thin spicy with the hops that linger. Nice, easy APA.

Aroma and flavor has a slight citrus presence, and a few toasted malts give it alittle complexity. Mouthfeel and appearance are average. Overall its is a little above average, a decent enough brew.

This breww pours a light amber color with a frothy white head. Its aroma is citrus, malt and light hops. A medium mouth feel. This brews' flavor is light malt, caramel, fruit and mild spice. Finish is crisp and clean.

Nice appearence with a great thick head. This beer did not have enough hop character to please me however. I would recommend their rye or Phoenix ESB for more of a hop kick.

Beer pours a deep amber orange with brown edges. Very unimpressive tiny head and no lacing. Aroma was grassy floral and citrus hops. I give this one some credit for having some complexity...caramel malts, a toasted nut flavor, some citrus hops, some floral hops that taste almost grassy (someone mentioned Saaz...I taste it), a little spice like bitterness. The only knock is that it was a little weak. Still, nothing wrong with this beer.

This pale ale pours a medium orange amber color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is oranges, peaches, malt and some hops. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. Malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. Lots of orange and peach flavors. Hops are earthy and spicy. Some floral notes as well. Lively carbonation. The bitterness and balance is more reminiscent of an English Style Pale Ale, it has the floral and earthy quality to it. Yet it has a little bit more crisp and spicy. There is a little bit of a muddle of flavors at the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Well, they get a point or two for originallity, but the creative juices just don't quench my need for lupilin in my pale ales. A nice slightly herbal and very spicy spin on the classic pale ale...but I have to admit...I really wanted my citrus from this brew. Nice toasty and nutty malt, some citrus, and plenty 'o' saaz.

Cloudy amber with a nice off-white head that doesn''t last. The aroma is subtle and pleasant hops with a nice malt backbone. The flavor is a nice crisp bready malt with an almost juicy character from the subdued but noticeable hops. Easy drinking without resorting to being watery.

Pours a hazy sunset orange...nice head that really clings to the inside of my glass...has a delicous frosted flakes kinda bitterness, quite delish..This is a tasty beverage and one of the best american pales i've had the pleasure of downing...i am really growing fond of the real ale brewery!
