330 ml capped bottle, as 5,5 % ABV. Poured in the original Bell' de Loing stemmed tulip glass an unfiltered and opaque orange-copper coloured A A with a three fingers light beige and soapy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. A lot of floating sediments. The aroma is rich, toasted and smoked malts, biscuits,a bunch of spices, fruity, citrus, peaches, sourish and herbal notes. The flavour is moderate malty, fruity, apples, light bitter with acidic tones. The mouthfeel is crispy, quite thin and light bitter. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied A A has a dry sourish finish. A you-can-drink-it Amber Ale from the French Gâtinais.

cloudy dark amber-brown colour with a very little foam remaining; very malty, nutty aroma, biscuity; some sweetness, good malt body, a touch of dry biterness before a moderate nutty, woody finish - not bad at all

Bottle. Taverne St Germain, Paris. Cloudy orange colour with a slim off-white head. Light malty aroma. Flavours are spices, caramel with a touch of the medicinal. Not bad.
