Had years ago. Beer pours a pale straw colour. head is white, faomy, and short lived. aroma is grains and vomit. Average mouthfeel. Taste involves a lager burn. Something to avoid.

a "little" better than the standard Rainer (which is utter garbage so really not a compliment). Just less offensive swill with better body and ever so slightly cleaner.

Yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck. A very pale yellow, no head, yets lots of effervescence. The arom,a is grainy malt, and grassy taste dominates the flavour. Avoid at all costs.

Thanks goes out to riversideAK for this really cool 40, a big green bottle of ale. Code 04078 E60713. Looks like it should be hidden in a wrinkled brown paper bag, heheheh. Not the same rude aroma as the 40s I get around here, its olfactory is much cleaner and even almost pleasant; it is sweeter than cream corn. Lots of continuous rolling carbonation within the glass once poured into my Bios sniffer. Taste is, woooooo, strong unrefined alky impact. Rather uncouth, somewhat like a high gravity beer from Melanie’s City Brewing. Coarse strong American lager flavors are startling findings. It says ale, but I have a hard time believing it. This stuff provides disturbing spatial dimension sensory experiences. It gets a little smoother after the first glass, probably because it’s numbing up my palate. Even with a sense of smoothness, rolling in like heavy fog, it remains ill tempered. Finish is big alarming alky malt liquor 7.3% shock which is buzzy, impolite and crude. You’d never drink a growler of this stuff! So this is what the west coast is all about, heheheh. Alex, I owe you one for this! Love it, just love it! Quite an experience!

When I think ale, I think a sharp, well hopped taste and good carbonation level. This one didn't let me down. Excellent golden color and even some lacing. Sure there is some adjunct flavor, but it is well masked for this type of brew.

Like no other "ale" I've ever tasted. This is even a poor attempt at a brown bag park bench buzz bomb...no ale character at all... no head to speak of...corney...boiled corn in the aroma, sweet corn dextrose and alcohol in the taste....weak pale gold color, no aroma of grain to speak of...just a sweet vegetal taste (filled with adjuncts) and a half hearted attempt at an astringic hop flavor. I got stuck buying a sixpack to sample this and I feel cheated.

Who-boy. I really need a job. $3.99 for a six-pack of 16-oz cans and I needed something to numb the brain when I thought my cat was going to die. Ug. Okay, this’ll be easy to rate: Pissy yellow beer with no head, straw-grassy odo... I mean, aroma. Flavor is objectionable at best and follows the aroma. Palate is oddly thick and fully with some decent foam, which scares me to think of where it came from. Overall? Yeah, it’s crap.

Ok I had heard about this semi-legendary beer up here for a while..but had not seen it for a year, when I spotted it in a 40 oz green bottle in Albertsons. Ok its actually quite a nice looking beer in the glass..a nice solid golden colour with a good sized white head..that went down but a small semblance persisted to the end of the beer. Nice fresh smell..mostly malts..nothing exciting but reasonable. This is pretty thin and malty..but i cant really taste the 7.3% alcohol..well hidden, until you feel it later half way down the throat but its not unpleasant. Feels rather "different" on the palate surprisingly creamy and smooth. This is actually a very good deal for $1.70 a 40 ozer..a step above many macros..its not great but I can see why many used to like this before the dawn of the micro beers.

Ever wonder what that shit that drips out of the garbage truck is , well i think i may have found it. I'd attempt to describe it, but I don't need to. It tastes like a combination of rotten orange juice and rancid milk. I have four more left to drink, wish me luck.

Golden color of course. Smells like adjunct city and sulfur. The taste is more bland than anything. Some sweet and malty notes. Its a doable malt likka!
